From what I can tell, @cygan is one of the few DT1 (this month) who still DT trusts yogg...

He doesn't trust him at all: he's just too busy to update it yet. Wink

owlcatz was right and actually i wanted to do it last week, but somehow i forgot it again Tongue
now i finally made up for it and put a '~' in front of the user 'yogg'

Yeh - I figured it might be something like that - in a few hours time when the weekly DT list comes out to reflect the monthly change of DT users, I'll post a list here of any lingering users that still have the scammer on their DT positive trust list (can't seem to get anyone to downgrade their positive trust feedbacks to neutrals - especially on the "had a good trade" posts)

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

(can't seem to get anyone to downgrade their positive trust feedbacks to neutrals - especially on the "had a good trade" posts)

Note: the feedback yogg left is still valid, so there's no harm in seeing that be default. But scammers shouldn't be on DT either.

While I don't doubt the feedback is valid, my suggestion was that those comments be changed from positive to neutral.

A scammer should not be on the DT and the rest does not matter. Any positive comment on his feedback page should be removed and replace with a red. There are no need for a neutral.

I hadn't logged in for nearly 2 years. (small protest that a site like this should have 2FA by now, but that's for another time)
However, I felt this was important enough to log in.  I needed to remove my positive trust for yogg while adding a negative for this DISGRACED maker that I once considered a friend.  I peeled and swept anything coldkey/yogg related and I had some really rare pieces.  Premiums lost, but it's better than yogg getting a single Sat that I consider mine.

Here's my take on the remaining coldkeys...
yogg really doesn't have access to the remaining private keys (a gambling degenerate would keep sweeping when tempted)
OR
yogg realizes that he may be facing REAL legal trouble.  If he sweeps more, bitcoin is not worth enough YET to make it worth taking the rest.  He would need it to be enough to truly go into hiding with the remaining funds and live out the rest of his miserable little life.

Well said....better to sweep than to have scumbag take our precious sats!  Why take a chance after all that he probably has more priv keys that he might accidentally  Roll Eyes discover sometime down the line.

And yeah legal trouble will come to him for the devious move he just pulled on us all. Who the hell couldve seen this coming? I mean I know there was something off with him but not this tbh. This is the worst kind of betrayal any physical bitcoin maker could ever pull.

Finally was able to get to my ck collection today to verify how much damage was done and was very surprised to find 0 of my history cards and unlocked bonds were swept, as well as all 3 of my gold halving sets and 3 copper halving sets were still funded. Fortunately but unfortunately at the same time the only swept wallets I own were all 3 of my silver halving sets. Not too bad for over 220 funded cks 🙌🥳
Will save all the info I have gathered for the fbi phone call if there are anymore reports of cks being swept going forward

Bitcoin is a real life cheat code to gain financial freedom 😉 the future is going to be fun

Were the funds swept at the same time as the others, or, is it a more recent grab for money?

Only/Same sweep, the first day it all happened. Nothing else in the hist series or others were taken afaik ...

I'm of the opinion he's done sweeping. I've stated why elsewhere, so I'm not gonna repeat it.. Roll Eyes

Still writing the great yoggening post in my head atm. Will be out by the weekend hopefully or thereafter...

So is the story that, he found the the backup of the private keys of the halving sets on a forgotten drive and he swiped only those, still holding the line?
From what I see only the halving sets were compromised, right?

In this case, for me this doesn't seems to have been planned earlier, because if you go into a scam mode, you would grab all you could put hands on, and if you don't do it at once you risk to have the "available" funds swiped by the owners, when they find out what has happened. So I don't think he has access to other private keys.

Then why putting you at risk after doxxing all your info for just a few thousands of $. It's not like you can move to Dubai and live your life there.
Or is it a tactics to get away with a "small" amount so people won't bother to go after you because it will cost them more than what they might get back?

If he really had some gambling issues, then I assume that there was a temptation to see that he has access to some funds and just took the wrong decision.

Of course, you cannot trust the guy after all the shit he created so everything issued by him is in danger.

I'm just trying to put some pieces together .

Yes, basically it was his way of killing it all for himself. He knew the source of his addiction was BTC, so he purposely killed any more access to it he may have/get. Coldkey gave him a lot of pride, but deep down he always felt like he was ripping people off (Not a natural businessman, obviously). Roll Eyes

So yeah, you pretty much nailed it. I'll have more detail in my long write up this weekend hopefully.

Addiction is bad shit, combine it with hard drugs and you have big problems. Huh

How can BTC a source of addiction? Addiction of accumulating BTC or what do you mean?
Or because he made money through Bitcoin / Coldkey and started gambling with that? Seems like quite the stretch to me.

No he spent any BTC he got from any shares or loans on gambling to try and make up for all of his losses. Since it's easiest to gamble with BTC versus Euro, he knew that what he was doing was wrong, and I think it finally broke him, so he basically destroyed his own project so he would have no more source of BTC coming in at all. He now knows he has a serious addiction and I have heard he is trying to move on from this...

As I said I will be writing up more that will explain everything hopefully.

Thanks

...He doesn't trust him at all: he's just too busy to update it yet. Wink

At least this is 100% correct in my case.

I don't like this drama in reputation board and don't read it (if I don't have to), only when/if there is thread against me (happened already more then once  Wink), am quoted or mentioned (like now) and notified by Loycev bot, this is the only time I check what is going on in there. Looks like i will have to do it more often.

Of course i will update my trust list also, just need to catch up on that particular case, from what I see unfortunately another old timer is not trustworthy anymore.

Would be great if somebody can code such reputation bot that will summarize what is going on in that board  Grin
who scammed who, worst enemies, actual wars on forum... to be updated in all that drama on time  Cool

What exactly is this bot? Does it scan the forum and everytime your name is mentioned it sends you an email alert?

If so, can you please post the link where I can download one please?  Thanks!
