If most mixer campaigns and its participants go there, altcointalk will have more content and will probably reach more traffic later on through google, since its more seo optimized than this forum.

Good point, but still, moving every campaign with all the participants will not increase the traffic to anything near the btctalk, but it would be a good start.

Would it be OK to have a signature linking to a blog/article explaining what mixing is, how it works and containing URL link(s) to mixer(s)?

It'd be OK in a post. In a signature it would probably not be allowed, as it would look like "promoting a mixer".

I was hoping the ban could be bypassed by creating a review website/blog etc explaining what mixing is and linking to an actual service, but looks like it's not going to work.

Coinomize.biz  would be able to retain their campaign participants as I see in your account that you just newly registered and yet you already become a hero Member. I also saw the campaign manage by Royse, it's running but the pay-per-post has drastically reduce, well, justifiable though since it doesn't have huge traffic like bitcoin.

Not true, that campaign isn't yet running, it's in the pipeline as preparation of the change over from Bitcointalk(BCT) to ACT which is expected to take off after the 31st of December when mix*Rs get banned here, and I think rates could go up once a budget is set and sooner or later traffic is certainly going to increase drastically once these campaigns officially launch all at once and rates will compete with sigs here..
