By the looks of the thread and by checking the transaction links of the payouts that were sent, it looks like the 4 BTC was paid to signature campaign participants? Or am I missing something

So you are already considering us pretty much idiots, but you still expect us to read your mind and see what you see.

PS. Lutpin already has negative tag for shady things done in signature campaigns. Whether that's correct or not, I don't know. But the forum is more that one person.

I checked the project being promoted which indicated a scam^[1], but several participants confirmed that they received the payment with the terms (see after this post)^[2] and returned the rest^[3], what's the problem?

Although I hate responding to the trolls I have to go with everyone above the OP is just trying to cause trouble. At least for those coins people got paid for a campaign.

The other thing is has anyone else noticed that Lutpin is still reading here just not posting. His last active date keeps somewhat current but last time he posted anything was a year and a half ago. I remember him when he was active. A very quick glance and I can't see any real drama, did I miss something or did he just walk away from posting for a while.

You can't call an important philanthropic website as big as BitcoinTalk a mafia for a signature campaign with a budget of 4 BTC seven years ago.  Bitcoin price in 2016 is probably $700-963.  You can't call a popular forum like Bitcoin Forum a mafia with a budget of 3000-3600 dollars at that time.

While having to agree with OP, as it's normal, after all, that if someone did something wrong once -- then certainly everybody does it (again, /s) -- still, topic's title brought me back the interesting ideas of another iconic figure of the forum:



So it seems that, somehow, three years later after wolwoo spoke the truth acted like the village idiot, someone else reaches same conclusion about the forum being a mafia clan. That makes sense, doesn't it?
