I believe NiceHash firmware is a rebrand of HiveOS, not the best firmware out there, I would personally stay away from it. However, if you really need custom firmware because you really need to underclock/tune your miners for whatever reason, then, try BraiinOS (the free old version) if you think that isn't good enough then try Vnish.to, don't attempt to search for that firmware online because there are many fake versions, either get it from AwesomeMiner or Asic.to.

With that being said, if you don't plan on underclocking/overclocking your miner and you don't need SSH access and all those stuff, the best option would be the stock firmware from Bitmain, it's free, you pay no fee and it does the job just fine for the average miner.

I don't think he is talking about the Nicehash firmware he might be talking about the software itself that mostly mine coins on GPU rigs.

@bigchungus07
Can you tell us what exactly miner you have is that the GPU miner? Or ASIC miner?

If you are looking for an alternative for nicehash that can mine other coin and auto-convert them into BTC it seems it's the only one can mine other coin and payout in BTC.

Everyone mining here is either mining with an ASIC miner or making a post that will probably be deleted or moved to the scamcoin area.

Are you mining with gpus and converting to btc.

you need to post in altcoins. There are a lot of ways to mine with a gpu and convert to btc besides nice hash.

Are you directly mining btc with an asic miner pointed to nice hash?

If you are I will give you some answers.

If you are mining with gpus I will ask the mods to move this to alt coins and I will give you some answers in alt coin.

I started mining using the graphic cards rig and the HiveOS. also tried nicehash, but in the nicehash, my nvidia 3090's hash rate was dropping from 118 to 100 and then constant at 98. In the hiveOS, it is giving 124 hash rate. Is there any other software to efficiently mine the crpto?

in my opinion a valid alternative to nice hash is unminable where you can mine various coins and get btc, they have their own decent software to mine, even on zergpool you can do the same thing but they don't have their own software, you can use vertcoin one click miner, i believe that just the nicehash software reduces the hashrate of the cards a bit

First what are you using to mine? Fpga, asic, cpu, drive, gpu? If gpu amd or nvidia? There some good mining software here, nvdia trex miner, amd teamred miner, nicehash miner is gui one, but u can use other miner to stay mining on them, better to mine in other pool instead using nicehash, i do remember when steal my coin and payback 12 months which is the value already down

In my view, Unminable presents a viable alternative to NiceHash. Unminable allows users to mine different coins and receive BTC, offering its own reliable mining software. Similarly, Zergpool offers a similar option, although they don't provide their own software; users can utilize the Vertcoin One Click Miner instead. It's worth noting that the NiceHash software may slightly reduce the hashrate of the cards.
