Due to the numerous of scam around in my vicinity, i was infleunce by so many thought around me into thinking that bitcoin was a scam or a means through which people are scam.

Bitcoin can and is used for scamming. But any financial asset can and is used for that. Scams and fraudulent schemes didn't begin with the introduction of bitcoin. They have been here as long as people have. Bitcoin has certain features on a protocol level that makes it easier for fraudsters to get what they want. If someone steals money from your PayPal or debit card, you have the option to get your assets back and request a chargeback. And that option is there for months. Bitcoin doesn't work that way. In this particular situation, the scammed individual is at a disadvantage, while the scammer used Bitcoin's irreversibility feature to their advantage.

That's why it's so important to stay on top of your game and think about what you are doing. No matter how hard it is to confess, but one should never forget that it's not Bitcoin's fault if you get scammed. It's the scammer's fault for tricking you and your fault for allowing yourself to be tricked.

The one who learned a lot was OP because he has known bitcoin for years, and so far why has he been silent and just been a spectator and only watched the price of bitcoin increase many times over. And it even went up really high at ATH yesterday and you're only going to learn now that there are regrets for negatively valuing bitcoin in the past.
We all learned a lot here over the years and maybe at first we judged the same because we didn't understand Bitcoin any further, because we were curious and kept following bitcoin's journey while learning everything related to bitcoin until we knew and understood. It also happened to me, mate. Back in 2011, I found Bitcoin, and I immediately discarded it as I thought it was nothing but a Ponzi. At the time, there were a lot of news coming out about telex free and a lot of other famous Ponzi schemes and that clouded my judgement about Bitcoin. Due to that, I only had the chance of looking closely at it once again 2 years later in 2013. The thing is that by that time, the price had gone through the roof and mining was not easy at all as you would need to go for a big investment. I mined it just the same but got to the conclusion that mining for altcoins and swapping it for Bitcoin was a good way of getting some coins. Due to my stubbornness and not doing my homework, I have missed a great chance and could today be the owner of a nice stash of Bitcoin, but unfortunately, I missed that. Well, at least, I still got into the carriage and that all that matters now!

It's better late than never because those who didn't take the time to learn it are one of those who ignored every news about bitcoins or joined the others who criticize it worse. You need to learn about something before you make some review about it and I can't seem to find it that way from the others because instead of looking for the right sources to learn about bitcoin, they choose to listen to the podcasts of the haters and they only listen to them. Until they realized they are wrong about it, some of them took advantage of the situation now, but others remained to ignore it.

It's never too late for someone to get involved in Bitcoin. We all know that at this time, not even 2% of the world's population has entered bitcoin, so I don't think it's too late for you to learn what bitcoin is.
Maybe it also happened to me, which I felt that way before but yes I see that this world is still a baby to bitcoin.

Way to go OP, but I guess this isn't the right place to tell people to learn and understand about Bitcoin, because majority of us here are already engaged in crypto right before you set foot in this forum.
You could've at least enumerate all the things that you've learned about Bitcoin and crypto and what made you realized that this isn't a ponzi or a scam, than generalizing the benefit of embracing changes.
People in this community could actually help you from setting up a safe wallet to purchasing your first Btc/crypto, and of course everything about those crypto that could potentially give you good profit.

Welcome to the forum, it's great that you took the first steps in the crypto community and signed up here. Like you the first few times I heard about cryptos I was very cautious and didn't think this would last. Now with hindsight I wish I would have joined much early the crypto world and also had been more active right from the start when I first got involved. The forum here is the past place in my opinion to learn about cryptos. You can learn about trading and investing bitcoins or alt coins with a lot of different users here. You are absolutely right that we need to constantly learn to evolve and become better in all aspects of life. Stopping to learn something new each month means that we are standing still and since the world of changing so rapidly we are moving backwards. Keeping uptodate with all the new trends is hard. It's very tough to remember a missed opportunity and getting to accept our mistake is a smart way to begin. We are not only meant to learn, but invest actions too. We cannot live life through reading, we must go out to the society to understand life. What you have done is great, joining the bitcoin community. Indeed. It's not an excuse because we have the option to educate ourselves first before trying to invest in Bitcoin or in any investment opportunity that comes our way. This is the problem of some investors who engaged themselves in Bitcoin because of hype, advertisement or someone encourage them to join the ride. If you blindly invest without knowledge of what you're doing then there's a possibility for you to commit mistakes resulting to losses.

If you missed the chance before, it's not yet late to invest now. But before that give yourself time to learn because that's your stepping stone to succeed as an investor.
