The supply do play a big part for a project's tokenomics but still, the potential of a project is determined by the fundamentals and development of it.

As for its market, if the pump was done and it has went down a lot, the chance of seeing it again even if we go for another bull run is only with little chance to unlikely.

Developers and fundamentals are one of the mandatory things that a new project has, without it the project will not get a good place.
Just look at some of the successful altcoins like DOGE with no limit on supply, able to survive and become a successful memecoin and even achieve high ATH, it's because of their strong community, good fundamentals and development.
and current new ones like Memecoin $BONK with a total Supply of 100 Trillion.

But when there is a decline and the fundamentals are not supportive and there is no strong community, any coin will not last and will eventually be abandoned.

The supply is not everything, the success of a project is produced by a combination of factors, and for what I can see things are not looking good for GXChain.

Its volume is barely above 5k dollars, the last time it reached an ATH was 5 years ago, the highest price it reached during the most recent bull run was just 40% of its ATH and right now is relatively close to its lowest price ever, that being said if you have reasons to believe this coin will do well then you could invest a very small amount in it, but if I were you I will stay away from GXChain.

Well majority of the coins have been pump during the 2021 bull run, so GXC is no exception.

However, we don't know if this coin is going to survived this bear market, as you have said, it has fallen dramatically. And even if it just cap to $100 million, that is still not the only factors that investors are going to put their hard earn money on it, or for any project for that matter.

It should have a solid use case, strong fundamentals to be able to get the consensus and keep this project afloat in the next bull run. So no one can answer you in my opinion, as we can't see what the future holds.

If you are talking about CXChain why would it be? Explorer shows no transactions. Homepage link on the CMC doesn't work.

Little bit of googling tells me that they partnered with REI chain and there has been a token swap. Which makes me think that these tokens are not even tradeable nor you can swap them anymore. The community was already there even before the memecoin hype saga has started. And that's why the other projects have built another meme coin because they have to keep in touch with it.

According to Coinmarketcap GXC has migrated to the REI Network, GXC has also been delisted from Binance and switched to REI with a 1:10 ratio,
I hope you no longer hold GXC but only hold REI, yes some exchanges still have trades for GXC/GXS, however it is more advisable to switch to Binance and buy REI for long-term investment,
and yes this altcoin has great potential to pump up to 10x or even 100x.
