Speaking of sports fanatics, is there any particular event you guys are looking forward to? I actually made some serious plans to watch the SEA games in Cambodia this year, but we couldn't arrange things for the family in time (there's a local village athlete to see).

I have failed to take my kid to Hungaroring last season, and this season is almost a must, but there is a shortage of tickets already, hopefully I will get one for that, it is in summer, and crossing border by car (Serbia/Hungary) in those times is taking 4-6 hours at least by direction, but should be a good fun

speaking of that, is there anyone interested to organize F1 pool, saw that Superbru already included it in competition

I dont know, but if CLS63 dont make that (i think he make the last year) i can try.... I also want to see how its the F1 in Kicktip or whatever call tha platform we used in the Bundesliga pool (i dont like in football but maybe in F1 can have good things)

I was planning to talk to Steve in this week. I postponed it to next week due to some reasons. Although we created the pool while there were a few days left for the races in the previous season, we managed to get quite good level of participation. I hope our number will be higher than many football pools this year. Besides it is great that F1 will be in BSFL.

All good, I know him from Clubhouse Chat, talked with him and Slissy in the chat today during my fantasy session and invited them here. Rules don't allow for new accounts but we are making an exception for people active in clubhouse chat as sort of cross platform collaboration. There were a couple of guys from there in World Cup competition as well. Multi account problem is solved trough their Sportsbet account. They need to contact me there and give me the bitcointalk nick.

Payments will be done after we close first division sign ups. Only people from first division need to actually pay. Second and third division are free to play.

That is a actually a big problem in this competition since we are having H2H matches, if you show up one week and not on another that is very unfair to other competitors. You will be required to answer 10 questions every week. That does not take a lot of time but it will be every week. I think few minutes is enough unless you are doing some extra reserch. Do you feel like you can do that considering your current situation?

Yeah leea, you probably missed the World Cup quiz format they did but you're playing against other users here, so if you miss out, you're giving your opponent free points, which would be like throwing a match away -- not something others would like.

OTOH if you do it just like you make your picks for superbru -- make sure you come in every week to take care of that, that should be more than enough.

Ok, I am including you in the competition. It will start very soon and you will have to send your answers for week1 on Monday probably. It will be all written here and link will also always be available in one of the first posts in the thread. Anyway be sure to check back here tonight or tomorrow for more info. Don't know how you track stuff like this but let's us know if we can help in any way to make sure you are getting it done on time. Only difference is that you can fill superbru up front while you will have to enter answers for our competition probably on every Monday.

Hey guys, our first sign up window has officially passed so we have distributed all valid applicants among the 3 divisions. Now first division is the place to be and it has just 12 spots this season, we couldn't possibly fit all deserving members inside so don't be mad if you ended up in second or third division. This is just season one and season two will be bigger, that means a lot of promotion spots will be available.

We had to change the rules and league sizes a bit to better accommodate the number of participants we had. Third division still has 1 extra spots for taking if we get a new face soon. Also since some of you said it would be nice too see the two of us playing we drafted ourselves to the third league even though we would probably merit a spot in first division. This way we did not take a spot from anybody. First round fixtures for 3rd league will be drawn closer to deadline to see if we will have full complement of players.

So check out the fancy tables and first round games down below. Questions will be live a bit later as well so you can start answering. This also means that all the members of the first league now have to send 2.5 mBTC on following escrow address:

Positions in the graphics are sorted by some strange criteria, i used software for random fixtures. Your weren't actually last spot, not that it matters but I remember buwaytress was first spot all the time since he was first sign up and I immediately placed him in first league.

Now we will embarrass ourselves, don't know why but I am always bad in competitions I run. I guess I don't have the will to do the research, since I already lost time making the questions

As I have never participated in this type of draw, was it just to see if I understood everything correctly.

I think you are correct. In the World Cup competition we had tie breaker questions. As I don't see one here, I guess there can be a draw between two participants, right Cro2 team? Sorry if I just asked stupid question but it's still early and my mind's not right yet

You are playing against your opponent in a H2H duel. Whoever has more correct answers gets 3 points, if you have the same number of points you both win 1 point.
There is also a weekly freebet for the person who gets the highest number of correct answers in the league - but that does not award any extra points in the competition.

Just like I thought, but thanks for clearing that up I don't think that the rules are complicated. There are so many of them but when you look at it, the post I quoted just about sums it all up. If you win a H2H duel, you win 3 points and your opponent wins nothing. And in a rare occasion where there the score is tied, both participants get 1 point each.
