If you play intelligently, it will benefit, because it develops thinking, strategy, but any gambling addict, so I think that the harm more for young people brings
Playing intelligently doesn't guarantee you winning a bet , most times the foolish players even win it, I know of a guy that went into a bet shop and accumulated 3 odds from 6events and he won it,  actually it came as a suprise to him too because he was just trying his luck,

Me that have used prediction sites and head to head stats to predict championship matches in Europe top 5 leagues am yet to win,  outside thinking and intelligence in Gambling there is luck, if luck is on your side then you wil win even when you didn't expect to win.

The problem with gambling is that it exploits the mind and it can lead to addiction. It has done more harm than good to our youths, who are sitting at home doing nothing and wasting their lives away watching TV, surfing the internet and playing games. If they would get out there and do something productive with their free time, they wouldn't be so bored or not focus on what they are doing as well.

For me it would always depend on how people would take it.
On my opinion there are two kind of people the one who takes it positively and the one who would take it negatively.
The other one would see it as an experience and learn from it, while the other one would just blame everything on it.
So whatever we do even if it's not gambling it would always depend on how we view it.

I think it's also important to note that not all youths who gamble are irresponsible. There are some who bet wisely and have a good understanding of the risks involved. It's all about being responsible and sticking to the terms and conditions of the betting companies, as you rightly said.

I suggest that betting companies should also do more to promote responsible gambling and educate their customers, especially the youths, on the potential risks and how to bet responsibly.

They should also have strict measures in place to prevent underage gambling and ensure that their customers only bet with what they can afford to lose.

If you are a gambler
Take note:
* Don't get greedy
* Try not to get addicted
* Don't bet with money you ve already budgeted for something else
* Don't borrow money to bet
* Betting is a side hustle not a full time job/business
