I believe every casino owner has been addicted to gambling at one time or another.

Obviously he stopped gambling (to have the money and be able to open the casino) or else he won a lot of money to be able to open his own casino.
What keeps a person in this business is the high profitability and I'm sure they play a lot less than many of their customers, but they still play.

However, it is kind of "strange" that they play in a casino, because either they will know that they will hardly win something or else they will know their own tricks very well, which would discourage them from continuing to play.

I think, No, in most cases. Casino owners are too busy with their respective businesses to still insert gambling on their own.

Maybe in some cases like in any big events such as world cup events (sports betting) but not that truly addicted or can be considered a regular gambler. I know in any company, there's one who will be assigned as the operation manager but still, these owners are hands-on.

Besides, we are not sure if these casino owners only operate casinos. Maybe they also have other businesses that's why there's no time for leisure activity.

They might be busy but its impossible that they wont really be having some vacant to visit out one of their companies considering if they have multiple then gambling moments or times would be that slim but if this is their sole business then for sure they would be having the time on spending up.No one really knows on how these owners are doing when it comes to activities that they are dealing with.

That's why there's a follow-up statement that I mentioned too that maybe in some cases, these owners might be participating too in big events in sports as that was really hype. But to think these owners are playing slots, roulettes mostly? I really doubt it.

These owners are surely busy managing their companies. And we are not even sure if they are only owning 1 company.

you can observe the following in your city or neighborhood: see if there is a slot machine in your neighborhood, if you have a machine then go to that machine and play a little and observe for a few hours which people are playing, you will see that the owner of the slot machine does not play on his machine and you will hardly see him playing on other machines and this also happens with casino owners, so why does this happen?

The answer is maybe. The owners of casinos and sports betting platforms probably won't gamble as much as others because they want to profit. But it is also possible that a casino owner often gambles as a casual player in his own or other casinos. I find this strange and although I understand that it is possible that casino owners can gamble in their own casino, the closest I have experienced is a relative who had a place where there were slot machines and he never gambled on them.

I remember reading somewhere the phrase "don't use what you sell"(or something like that), I think this is applicable to casino owners too. as others have said that there are casino owners that do gamble but I am certain that majority of them are business minded and do not actually gamble and if they do they only do it rarely or occasionally. getting too into gambling while having a business is a bad habit and ultimately will be bad for business, I'd like to think a lot o casino owners understand this.

In my case I think that if I were the owner of a casino I might gamble from time to time but it would be pointless to gamble a lot, as it would be like taking money out of my left pocket and putting it in my right.

Well, I don't think they have anything to lose if they gamble in their own casinos, so yea I think so. Ofc I don't think this applies to every owner, but I reckon most new owners would probably gamble a lot in their own casinos, but later on, would probably never touch it again, or maybe a bit but very rarely cause I think at that point, their assets would be pretty big already and they're either playing golf or doing some other type of hobby. As an owner of a casino business, I reckon they know themselves about the risk of touching it for a long time (especially in their case since they are the owner) so if I were them, I'd stay away after it has settled down.

I have talked with one back in the day, it was one of the earliest casinos in crypto, and the owner was just too busy to gamble. He was a big big time gambler, he spent hours and hours gambling everyday, and that is why he wanted to own a casino, and after he stopped gambling to build his casino, he had to work so much that, he didn't had time to watch tv, eat outside with friends, go to movies, see a play, nothing. He had to work as much as 20 hours a day sometimes, sometimes a bit less but 15 hours was a "nothing happened today" day for him.

So, if you are an owner like that, then you do not have time to gamble, but if you have time to gamble... well then you are doing something wrong.

Just as your example, I don't think that they do that much to gamble. They are there for the business and that's through getting profit from their customers which are the typical gamblers.

Their principle is more with the business and not with the actual gambling. They might gamble sometime but they're more focused into their operations instead of gambling through their platform.

Your illustrations are really very funny and realistic but you really can't compare gambling to the examples you gave because I haven't seen anyone who will boldly say his statisfied with the money he or she has because human quest and desires are unsatisfying so to answer your question, I think yes that betting platform owners gamble but I'm not certain if it's as much as the regular gambler.

we cannot equate between food or the like with gambling. yes it is true that boredom will surely appear after we keep doing the same thing. but not for gambling.
because, gambling is like a forbidden drug that will not give a bored effect, instead it gives an addictive effect. different from us eating eggs every day and over time we get tired of eating eggs continuously.

Yes, they gamble. You know stake casino owner? Eddie always gamble on his own platform every weekend. If he isn't around I think its co-partners are a substitute.
