I understand. After reading your long post, I see that you are talking about earning merits to have a chance to participate in the signature campaign. Getting more merits would automatically mean that you are a good poster and have contributed to the discussions in the forum.

It's hard to rank up now because of the system change. Back in the day, you just needed to be active in posting, and your merit would grow. But it's a good decision that the system has changed to prevent abuse from posters just to have a higher chance of participating in the signature campaign. In my case, I just continue to be active, with or without a campaign, as this forum has been a big help for me to ease my financial burden. While there may not be much to earn from the signature campaign, there are more significant opportunities in the crypto space that I learned about in this forum.

So for newbies, my advice is to stay calm and post with passion. If you love the forum, eventually you will be rewarded

Your post is highly recommended, and newbies will undoubtedly learn something useful from it. The mindset that newbies brought with them when they joined the forum is often the reason why they rush to achieve greater heights or participate in other activities that will make them relevant in the forum. Some people are told a lot of things, and when they finally join, things don't go as planned.

Great advice for new members like me. Indeed, basically we have to believe and continue to consistently learn in this forum because there is so much knowledge and insight. My mother would always advise me that anything that is left on its own cannot solve itself. That is to say only problem left unsolved would remain unsolved till it is being attended to.
Having that in mind I always try to fix every problem I have straight away in my own capacities.

But on the contrary, my mother would also tell me that silence solves some problems. That whatever thing that is so difficult for you to do, just keep silent for some time you can be surprised how the problem would just passed away. Trying to relate these two things have been difficult even to this moment. So most times I approach the problem immediately, most times I use the approach of silence to solve some problems

It seems to me that a lot of members come to this forum because of certain expectations, and these are usually expectations of a financial nature.
However, as in everything in life, if you want to achieve something, you have to make an effort and invest something, usually your time, knowledge and experience.
You can't get something for nothing, that's not how things work in real life, and even on this forum.
So, if you want to get merits in order to progress on the forum and later achieve a certain financial benefit from it through signature campaigns and in other ways, you have to make an effort and contribute to the forum community in some way.
This means you have to be patient and calm and slowly build your reputation on this forum. Nothing is achieved overnight.

As with the case of this forum, newbies should try to be calm as with the merit and post-section rush that is more of a trend these days. Be calm and take your time to understand the way things get done here, mostly as regards comment style, presentation of work, organization of reference and links,  terms, and languages being used. You will see how things just flow with ease.

every one of us here hasdifferent reasons why we are here and why we are staying here some of us are joining this community to promote our business or let's say casino. Some of us here join because we want to learn a lot such as investing tips and how to start investing and to know more about crypto. But some of us joining here share their knowledge about crypto and some of us join because of joining bounties to get tokens. Your mom is a wise woman.
In my encounter most times apart from keeping silent and letting the problem slide or trying to fix it immediately, one way I have learnt to solve them is by combining both words of wisdom your mom gave. I.e., I attempt to solve the problem at first, if it gets too difficult, I ignore it for as long as any duration I please, while I try to chill somewhere or focus on another task.
I have come to realize that when I do this, I have a somewhat cleared perspective of how to go about resolving the problem thereby actually resolving the problem. I think Albert Einstein had the style of staying with a problem longer.
 Well, it finally depends on the patience and discipline to be calm and reason long and hard.
