Actually, it is not only me. Bitcoin and Stable coins are a big deal here in my country because inflation and lack of trust in our institutions. One just needs to take a look a countries like Nigeria or Argentina to see how Bitcoin can help people to face disadvantageous economical situations.

For example, here in my country it was not possible to receive remittances directly from abroad, one needed the government as third party. In the end, they kept the USD and gave inflated local currency to the final recipient. Thanks to Bitcoin we can move money however we want without permission from autocrats.

Not really no. My portfolio hasn't grown to the point where it can positively affect my financial situation (nor negatively ofc), and I have no plans of letting it do so until the profit I get has reached the goal that I set for myself. It doesn't help that I'm just hodling it and not trading though. It has helped me in the past though, I've had a few small transactions paid with Bitcoin and some small profits here and there, but nothing big imo. I think most of us earns on this , mining right now is getting difficult you need to have a farm to see the big profit on it but if you are just mining on your own then the profit is low and brought you small money but still you have passive income. Most of my friends that tried mining before quited right now its because the electricity is very expensive in our country and they switch to future trading.

Bitcoin definitely has huge advantages for people to become independent of fiat money and for companies to deal easier in international trade and payments. It also helped many people that invested early on into it to become rich.
