I think the youngsters enjoy it, it helps some businesses do well but I am far too old for that kind of stuff. Nobody wants to see a dude in his 40’s dancing around like a teenage girl.

Obviously everybody can do what they want, free speech etc but it is definitely not for me.

Actually, its not really a waste of time. A lot of my friends are earning from TikTok through shops affiliate. You just have to have at least 1k followers, and then you can apply for shops affiliate and earn through commission.

depending on someone using it. on tiktok there is also video content about knowledge, as well as motivation to try and enthusiasm. but on tiktok there is also video content that is not useful, which is just a waste of time. so it all depends on how people use it.

If you're not using it to earn, it is undeniably a waste of time...or at least, the quality of time spent is low at best in comparison to basically anything else that is considered remotely constructive.

I like TikTok, like all social media there are endless funny videos. But I think it’s not a good idea for kids to be on it even with TikTok’s terms of age thirteen and above.
There’s that thought when your child is viewed by the public and there is that feeling when there are pedophiles out there. I do not like to spend too much time on social media because of the health of my eyes.
Not just funny videos there are how to videos, news around a certain neighborhood, and even challenges. In all, TikTok is a good form of short-term entertainment but not for kids.

TikTok is owned by its parent company, ByteDance. And though the Chinese government doesn't directly own the social media platform, it may indirectly influence its operations.  So keep that in mind.  You almost certainly have the CCP intruding into your personal device and all of your affairs.
