I won't say New Zealand played badly against Australia because the team tried very hard towards the end. Sophie Devine's performance in particular was exceptional. She performed brilliantly in today's match. If it hadn't been for the two run outs, the match could have been very close. New Zealand were naturally behind in the match as Australia batted early and set a big target, but they performed brilliantly at times in the match. Sophie Devine scored a century, if she hadn't been bowled out, she could have scored even bigger short overs, which could have been a source of concern for Australia.
