The Spanish translator and friend Csmiami is not very active lately, but he connected yesterday so chances are that he is aware of this request.

Since there are already 2 threads in those local boards, I think we can skip translating it... this is a particular case and it happened before, as far as I remember, when Husna (I think?) said once that a topic we were translating existed already in his local board, shaped in a similar way, thus that topic wasn't translated...

i would also consider it sensible to suspend this translation. because if there were two threads with the same topic, chaos would be inevitable and you wouldn't know which thread to post in.

Sorry for asking again. I didn't pay much attention when you mentioned me the last time. By update, did you mean we just replace the previous year's post with the new changes? Or do we make a separate post/translation? Like BCA 2025 edition?

I am only asking this because we don't have any local boards yet (the Bangla community). So I won't be able to bump my previous year's BCA 2024 translation or anything of the sort. I don't know how! Honestly, I'm a little confused here...

I am only asking this because we don't have any local boards yet (the Bangla community). So I won't be able to bump my previous year's BCA 2024 translation or anything of the sort. I don't know how! Honestly, I'm a little confused here...

If I'm not wrong, what Gazeta meant is to update the existing ones, and not to create a new thread. For example in my language Spanish the existing topic was created by another user years ago (Csmiami) and we're waiting to see if he updates it first of all.

Only in the case of missing languages, I think that a new one could be created.

Well... this is a particular situation, since you don't have a local board... sigh... But what you can do is to edit your translation... add the new content... Then simply quote your old translation (by making a new post) and write in that post something like BCA 2024 was just launched... please read the quoted post (which contains your translation).

Porf did not add the topic to translations in progress because it was already in the "Finished" section:

Since nobody knows, I was the one who originally proposed that topic to Porf via PM. But I'm guessing there has been some kind of mis-communications here. When I made the proposal, what I really meant was that, we should use that specific topic to look for potential topics for translations.
