Regarding BCA 2024, should we translate "Custom title" part also? I noticed some of the AOBTers did that and some didn't. Even I kept it in English the previous year.

All parts of the topic should be translated... From what I saw, there are only 4 translations which do not include the custom titles' translation (but they include the translations of the descriptions of these custom titles), these ones being made by bitbollo, Peanutswar, dkbit98 and you... So, please, translate the custom titles as well...

That's what is seems, I don't talk Dutch (yet ) but at least one member wrote to me complaining about how bad it was, he reported it,  and a mod deleted it already.

Hey gang! Does anyone knows who this user is? I don't recognize him as a member of AOBT, and yet he used the initiative's name at the end and translated one of 1miau's topic. The translated language seems to be "serbian" according to google. Furthermore, I think he used either mine or Gazeta's translation as a reference (only the two of us uses/used the "n.b" to leave our personal comments in translations). It seems that users who don't talk the languages we cover here in AoBT are translating it in addition to our work. As 1miau's topics' translations must be assessed before being posted, I hope these members are in contact with Gazeta because otherwise they'll be working for nothing.

What is rare is that the one you mentioned is using the initiative's name. If he wants to join, he only has to apply, but as long as his work is good, even if it is not correct stricto sensu to use our name, I wouldn't blame on him for it in this case in which most translations are reserved for us.

Sure! take it for granted. In fact it seems that some users in my local board liked especially this last part, so let's see if the fourth one exceeds the already high expectations.

I propose to translate the first of the proposed topics (in green) next because of different reasons: we have translated 8 topics by 1miau so far, but only 1 by LoyceV; in addition, one of the most critical questions people pose in this forum is the one about recovering lost coins from old wallets, so although the other two translations are also relevant, I think they can wait. Finally, our Nigerian translators may feel pretty disconnected from the Alliance lately, since most of our last topics were already translated into Pidgin.

Let me know what you think too, and we'll make a decision in the coming days.
