This is just a heads-up: I will also perform this translation tomorrow. I will come back with the link from Romanian local board.

I also suggest to change the "[NIG]" indicative from OP (which was used for Nigerian with "[PID]" -- from Pidgin. A Nigerian user corrected me and explained me that I should use "Pidgin language" instead of "Nigerian language".


And one more suggestion, made to all AOBT users: each time when you make a free translation please add this sentence at the end of your translation: "Translation made at AOBT inițiative.".

I think dansus021 meant something else but, due to a small mistake he made, he was misunderstood

I think he wanted to point out that, besides translating joker_josue's topic, he also translated one of mine. However, instead of using the link of his translation he used the link of the original thread.

This makes perfect sense and yet many of us missed it. Although different lines don't fit perfectly, I have corrected my translation following your indications and it looks better now

Noted, don't worry about that: our philosophy is that each member chooses the translations he/she feels comfortable with. For example, Husna QA won't translate anything related to gambling or pornography, and that is totally fine.

This is a good addition and it will ease translators' work. However please be aware that there is no "New" in front of the new added chapter ("Long Term") and, at the only line where this "New" appears it is written at the end of the line and not in front of it

It's okay, I'm fine with it. Others had a thread about my negative beliefs and I acknowledged everything. You can look there to see if I'm safe enough. Although it is a bad thing, but it is a thing of the past and I am sure that I have enough experience to do any translation for my language.

Sorry for not clarifying this cygan: except for exceptions such as the case in which the main translator is not active anymore, we all agreed when we created the Alliance that the final word about accepting a back-up translator is his/hers (main's). According to this rule, in the case of German, we have to give Buchi-88 the opportunity to share his opinion and decide, because it will be with him that you will have to coordinate.

I will rescue our ethical and operational decalogue and I will share it with you and zasad@ this weekend so that you know them. Please, give me a couple of days because I would like to take the opportunity to share a few new ideas to be included, so all members can discuss about them.

I'm already active here, just not in the thread every day (although I have less time to translate at the moment because of my job), and if I see that @cygan or @miau are doing the translations, or want to do them because they have more time or it just suits them, I have no problem with that - both members are absolutely trustworthy. That's why I don't interfere, but I also don't have a problem if one of them wants to do the main translation and I step back as a backup. But cygan or miau would have to comment on that.

In my opinion we are a very good community with a lot of cohesion on the German board, so none of us have a problem if someone else does the translation, the most important thing is the community and especially beginners get something out of it on the Bitcointalk board.

of course i would be happy to do the german translations if 1miau or Buchi-88 don't have time. you just have to talk to each other and you could also coordinate who wants to translate which topic.
there is also the option of 'reservations' where you can reserve/block a certain topic for yourself and then translate it in the next days/weeks
and as Buchi-88 already mentioned, the three of us would have least objection if one of us would translate something
btw 1miau would first have to apply here at the very great initiative

Although there are still some languages remaining in the list of Translations IN PROGRESS, as two weeks have passed since Peanutswar proposed the last topic, anyone can make proposals of new threads to be translated.
