Both are good and can be profitable but the risks of both are high and the loss can be very similar to gambling. You can choose any that you like but know that both are risky. I have been into crypto trading for years and I know someone that have been into forex for a long time too, just that you need to read very well about how to trade. But as for me I prefer crypto trading while forex traders will choose forex.

Crypto and forex can be both profitable. The only difference that I have seen between for forex and crypto is the "volatility". Crypto has the higher volatility than Forex.
They're also both have manipulation. However, we have different perspective and experiences in trading forex and crypto. Because of the combined manipulation and high volatility in crypto, it has big chance to hit the stop loss. Unlike forex, you can easily spot the manipulation. That's why most of the profitable traders uses forex.

If you do choose up then you could actually have both but this would really be requiring
that proper time management because we know that technical indicators isnt everything on which news and other fundamentals

You select cryptocurrency because you are familiar with its instruments and skilled at futures trading, which is the oil well of cryptocurrency trading. I'm good at timing the forex market because I'm so calm, especially when news starts to come in around midweek. NFP news is my favorite because huge profits are always made from these news. I will choose cryptocurrency because this is where I became aware to learn to trade digital currency and it became a road instrument for me to get a source of income in this field of business. I tried Forex once but I didn't feel comfortable, instead I was more comfortable with cryptocurrency.

Why crypto over forex for trading, simple reasons
1. Better volatility, forex markets are generally the worst when it comes to volatility. Crypto markets move more than 5% on each day giving you lot of scope of profits and losses as well. Forex move much less but obviously there is high leverage involved making profitability almost even.
2. Macroeconomics: Crypto macroeconomics is generally much difficult and variable on various aspects than forex which is mostly a barometer of country's economic situation and a little bit of speculation.
3. Options for trading: you have a lot of options when it comes to Crypto trading. In forex you just have handful of options.

I personally choose crypto because it is easier than Forex. We can easily transfer funds to buy any crypto coins both in CEXs or DEXs. We simply don't need third parties. So, we can make an entry or an exit at any time. It is fast and not complicated.

Another reason is its volatility. I like the volatility, it offers the opportunity to gain bigger profits. A far as I know, Forex mostly has no high volatility as in crypto, it is hard to expect bigger profits as we invest in crypto coins.

Risk is in every trading market (be it commodity, stock, forex or any other) that gives you good return in short duration. In crypto the real profit is in long term trading not the short term. I way reading a story on my local board that one guy sold his bitcoin few days back when Bitcoin was trading on 20k and just couple of days after bitcoin jumped to 24k. Yeah, it depends on the person or we must only pick one between the two? But, both are still correct if the person is only familiar with one of them but if he is familiar with both forex and crypto then he can do both of it for a better profit potential. Also I think Ferox is more luck involved. In my Forex adventure I have like 10 wins in a row and later I lose like 8. The only indicator that give some results in Forex is aligator. But still I stay away from it and I would advice other too.

I've done both but I trade crypto more than forex because it seems like forex is not the right thing for me because losses are more common even in a very short time, and I feel because forex will really suit those who already understand reading indicators. If you think forex is less volatile and boring, try increasing leverage, you will also get a roller coaster feeling. but the thing that I like with crypto is that, if you do spot trading, and somehow your supposed capital for trading is currently in loss because sudden correction occurred, you can just wait it out and consider it as investment.

For example, no cryptocurrency including Bitcoin is legal in our Bangladesh so far. But we can easily buy and use crypto through p2p from Bangladesh. although crypto is not legal in Bangladesh, we can kyc on crypto related sites, crypto exchanges with Bangladeshi NID, Passport, Driving licenses. If you are a risk taker and love volatility then crypto is for you but if you want a less risky environment, you can do forex though higher leverage and margins can give you massive losses in those two. These two markets are a bit different in nature. Forex markets impact on news but you can be a successful forex trader only by using different indicator setups. In crypto basic indicator is useful but you need to keep in mind a lot of different things when taking your entry. A news event can prove your whole set up wrong. So it will be wise to use google to gather more information about these two sectors. I can add more points in my comments because i traded in both market but I want you to work on it so that you can value your efforts properly.

For me, i think there are no advantages or disadvantages in choosing to trade forex or crypto over the other, it's all a matter of choice and preferences, like myself, i started trading forex before i discovered crypto, and after a while in crypto, i started trading and left forex, not because forex is bad in any way, but simply because i came to like and prefer trading crypto over forex.

There are people who like trading forex and no matter what, they will never leave forex to trade crypto, and there are those as well who will not leave crypto to trade forex, it's all about personal choice, but for me, i just prefer trading crypto, most especially, spot trading because, i have the option of holding a coin i bought for a longer time incase its price did not go as i expected, at least, until the price moves up for me to sell in profit, this is completely different from forex where a loss is a loss, most especially, if you are using a very high leverage, like it is in futures market in crypto.

Although crypto is not legal in all countries, it is possible to buy and sell crypto from almost all countries through p2p services. For example, no cryptocurrency including Bitcoin is legal in our Bangladesh so far. But we can easily buy and use crypto through p2p from Bangladesh. although crypto is not legal in Bangladesh, we can kyc on crypto related sites, crypto exchanges with Bangladeshi NID, Passport, Driving licenses. But since crypto is not legal in our Bangladesh, it is very dangerous for us to hold crypto in a centralized exchange because our accounts can be restricted at any time. so I always use non-custodial wallet. Although forex trading is legal in our country, most of the youth here do crypto trading and avoid forex.

Exactly, another advantage of crypto over the forex is its potential for global access since crypto is a decentralized and digital currency, it's not subject to the same geographical restrictions as forex.

Forex and crypto are two different entities but they both involve the trading of currencies. The main difference between these two is that forex is a regulated market and crypto is largely unregulated. The decision to choose any is absolutely yours but crypto has the potential for much higher returns than forex because the crypto market is still growing and evolving and there's the possibility that it will increase in value over time. I would say it all depends on how you are dealing with forex and with crypto as well. A spot trading at crypto with just bitcoin/usdt pair would be a lot less riskier than some forex where you deal with Dollar/Yen partly with x150 leverage, which does exists.

That doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with anything that would be riskier at forex, you can also do the opposite as well, there are literally btc/doge parity for leverage as well, something high there with just usd/eur parity with low leverage could definitely make the crypto related part a lot riskier. So all in all, there isn't really anything that is guarnateed to be riskier in one side or the other, there are differences in the end for sure.

If you would really go for less risk then it would be recommended that you should be touching up forex but expect that profitability would really be that less basing up on the volatility that it  does have which comparing to crypto on which volatility level would really be giving out that kind of chance and probability that getting enormous amount of profits could be possible and same goes with losses as well. In short, it would really be just that depending with your risks appetite since not all would really be that liking on having that too much risks. If you do find out that Forex trading does really fit out into your criteria then go ahead but if you do find it boring due to lack of action and movement then crypto would be a considerable choice or option. It would really be just that depending on you on which one you would be taking.

Im a Forex trader but did make out some transfer or jumping into crypto market yet i do find this place to be more interesting and challenging and profitable at the same time
if you are really that able to do well within this market.Yes, its risky but doesnt mean that it would really be that too making losses if you are really just that careful.

Tho the both market are volatile during news event and manipulation is bond to happened, but i prefer crypto to forex because crypto can be traded on weekends, tho the price is kind of slow, and another thing is there are lots and lots of coin to trade on like forex, just few currency pairs to trade from.

I used to mostly engage in sport trading, but it was bringing losses. Definitely, you have to look through the price chart of whatever coin you are buying so that you can know the price you can buy and when to sell, and from the chart, you can possibly predict the next direction of the coin you are trading. Trading futures on CEX is just like forex.

The two are very different and they will never be the same. Although Forex was ahead of crypto but in this instance it seems that cryptocurrency has overtaken Forex in the short time that has passed in my opinion. These are their pros and cons.

Yes, it is a matter of choice but we can't erase the fact that there is still a disadvantage whatever we choose between the two. I've traded using both, and saw less success in Forex, but only perhaps cause it's not really my cup of tea. 

As with everyone who tried forex trading in this forum, I can attest when they say that compared to bitcoin or crypto trading, it's way faster and more dynamic, as small price changes can literally mean the life or death of your whole bankroll. So you can't really do HODL or long hauls in the forex world. Crypto's a little more forgiving in this sense, since you can hold for as long as you like and only cash out during bull runs, which means you always have a pretty good opportunity to earn money regardless of the situation. In any case, I don't think one's better than the other in this situation, but at the very least we know what people will choose.

Yes, actually both have their own benefits and risks or drawbacks. And it will also depend on each individual in optimizing their trading. But for me, I will prefer to definitely crypto. The main reason is because he is focused on the crypto world and has never traded forex. So you really understand things related to crypto more than forex. In fact, both crypto and forex are equally risky. It's just a matter of how we manage this risk. And optimize it to make a profit. I heard that, some forex traders say that it's a little easier in crypto. Not only that, here, they can also do it 24 hours 7 days non-stop without holidays to trade crypto. Truly you had made some valid point here, crypto market defies technical analysis in most time and I believe it's due to the high volatility compared to forex trading, whenever there is a massive pump in price of crypto possibly due to manipulation by some whales hardly do candlestick patterns work all technical analysis would be rubbished by the sudden surge in the price of that particular crypto, I had been into crypto trading before I have a tough time in crypto trading unlike forex trading, the only period of high volatility in the price of forex trading is during Red news which has a calendar where a trader can avoid trading 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after a Red news, beside that forex candlestick patterns work as well as Technical Analysis.

Both are good but in crypto, you have different means of earning off trading. It could really be intertwined or something that we do speak about skills on which you could easily make selection or choice whether you would go with forex or with cryptocurrencies on which knowing certain skills would really be just the same in speaking about technical indicators or knowing on how to deal up with fundamental. These two things are actually very different, crypto is very unlikely to be stable (except stable coins) while forex is usually quite stable (fiat exchange between countries and has great trust). However, if you trade crypto, you will see the market open 24 hours a day, 7 days a day (unless a platform is undergoing maintenance), while when you trade forex, you may not be able to do it 24 hours a day, there will be certain hours for this open and closed (unless you use forex tokens). You have a point but still mixing other points together which could mislead as it's kind of deviating from the real fact. You are right that anyone with knowledge of Forex trading could trade cryptocurrency, and not only that, such would trade any aspect of the financial market without any problem. Only that conditions of the market reaction and movements vary among asset classes, once this is noted, the rest will be a workover. But in my experience, the Forex market reacts to news better than cryptocurrency, in fact, if GBP/USD would move over 100 pips in some news effects, Bitcoin may not move more than 30 pips in that news effect. This is what I had noticed for years and one of the reasons why I seldom traded Bitcoin until I returned to it again lately.

I believe that any asset paired with the USD should react well to the USD news just like any other asses in the financial market, but the case is different with Bitcoin, it rather reacts to it sluggishly except a few times. The news that cryptocurrencies react better to are those that are directly crypto-related which is not supposed to be so. This kind of news is not always common, and examples of them are crypto ban or adoption, ETF filing and its approval/rejection, liquidation of exchanges and many more. But this is too selective for an asset paired with the USD (BTC/USD), any USD-related news should be able to cause much excitement in it.

this hits home, in forex i always incurred loss, i don't know why but the market seemed so abstract its hard to predict, but with cryptocurrencies its easier because we can understand the underlying project, potential and many more that could helps predict its valuation in the future, take for example, if a project is gonna be having partnership with some big exchange we know the price gonna rise, therefore easier to predict.
with forex i personally always having a hard time, even stock is sometime so abstract, the company could get so good fundamentally but have really low value even being dumped to oblivion, kinda baffling sometimes thats why I decided to settle with cryptocurrency investment and even futures, because its just a lot more convenient in my opinion.
