In general, it is vital to have an initial purpose other than information before engaging in trading or investing activities. Yes, there are different types of investment assets and their risks are also not the same. Since we are here in crypto, I will only mention crypto as one of those assets. Cryptos are highly volatile so I think they are the most riskiest asset. for new people who want to try their luck in trading, what i suggest for the first time is to learn the basics of trading because it is the basic foundation, after that throw away the mindset about;
-trading can make you rich overnight.
-ignoring the discipline in trading and lack of risk management ^{(don't have a plan when to stop loss, buy or sell)}.
-overtrading ^{(using capital that you are not ready to lose)} and not having clear goals from the start of trading.

Trading is not gambling and children's play, so don't be trivial and underestimate trading activities.

You need to be ready to measure you risk before ever thinkimg of investing in any project because if you don't measure your risk, you can lose your money anytime without you being aware. It is also good for us to do some studies about what kind of investment we are putting ouroney because there are so many fraudulent businesses online and if we are not careful about where our money is entering, we might lose our fund without getting it back.

I have made some funny mistakes in the past and I will not want any person to make that kind of mistake again because we need to learn from other people's mistake to avoid unnecessary drama and regret.

Trading is more into selling/buying assets in short-time span and it could be a bad thing if you buy/sell in the wrong time and also choosing wrong coins/tokens to begin with. Especially if you are a beginner, until you are confident with your skill on trading then I'd recommend to not do it for now and do hodling instead if you are into long-term investment. But still if you are brave enough and want to do it in hard way then you can learn about that.
