Bitcoin is not been taught in school and so we can say we don't have proper education about this but as we can see, many platform and discussion that it talks particularly about crypto, particularly Bitcoin. I think it was enough for us to say that we are not ignorant about this thing unless we don't have any sense of curiosity about this stuff. Meaning, people are still learning but what makes some of us think negatively about Bitcoin it is because of FUDs and scam issues bringing the name of Bitcoin.

I suppose one of the main reasons why people are unfamiliar with Bitcoin is that they're not comfortable with technology, and there are no misconceptions present in this context.

You must eventually come to grips with the fact that Bitcoin has a variety of uses, and that everyone has a different reason for owning the cryptocurrency. However, just because someone isn't using their coin in the same way as another person doesn't mean they are acting incorrectly.
Since I am aware that at some point, if Bitcoin is allowed in a country, it also enhances its chances of becoming generally accepted in such a country, another risk that Bitcoin is facing is its ban in the majority of countries.

A couple of discussions about spreading education and knowledge about bitcoin has apready been made in the past. I could link them all but it'll take me a whole day to do so. But I could at least give uou a little glimpse at what the discussions in those post has ended up to.

For one, bitcoin is more known now than it was past years ago, so you can at least assume that a good chunk of people, although not having anything about bitcoin, could still have the most basic grasp at what the coin could be, even if it is wrong.

You can bank on that by providing them with incentivised knowledge-based information campaigns.

Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin.
For starters bitcoins history is all on the internet and accessible to anybody in the world and isn't region locked as you have put it!

Understanding of bitcoin, well lets just a its a gradual  process and most of us just scratch the top and don't get too technical with it.

Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to.
Why is bitcoin use fixated around Europe-America Huh

This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
I actually think bitcoin use is more in these third world countries as its the best  alternative to their failing currencies,  for example  talk about Zimbabwe,  Venezuela, Nigeria(during elections) and several other countries  which have shown more interest  than developed countries who want regulatory frameworks  to help protect their  investments.

Tbh its all individual interest and not country based.

I believe there were few universities out there that teaches something related to blockchain and that might be the nearest education we got in relation to Bitcoin. I believe one was Mays Business School in US that teaches one if I had heard the recent news correctly.

It's better to just be self taught though, since resources out there are free anyway. I don't want to spend hundreds of USD or thousands in PHP on something that I could learn in the internet for free anyway.

This was the news by the way: One of the largest US colleges has begun teaching students about Bitcoin

It takes time.
Of course, you can start telling your friends about bitcoin, but always explain the basics, I mean blockchain. This is an ingenious technology and you need to know it. It is also necessary to warn about the risks. That you can lose everything.
Later, these friends will tell more friends about bitcoin. Perhaps this is the best.

You are right, it all depends on the learning interests of each individual. But I believe that in most developed countries, their mindset about new innovation is much better than third world countries.

I can say that a lot of people in developed countries would rather have their assets work for them than have them work for the assets, of course it's very different in some third countries. Many people in third countries work for assets, while their assets are immobile or non-productive. Lack of knowledge, lack of interest in learning as well as wrong mindset are some of the very common differences between the two.

Learn from it if you're indeed that interested to know more about it because you don't even have to have somebody who will need to spoon feed you this information because a lot of information regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can now be found on the internet. I believe our only role is to plant those seeds on them and let them know that there's another hope to hedge ourselves against inflation and that there are cryptocurrencies exists now to help make our lives better as long as we know how to utilize it.

Basically Bitcoin provide us financially freedom which government didn't want because through which they will lose his hold from citizens of his country. And that why most of the countries didn't legalize it.
Government can be the strong contender through which the citizens of his country can familiar with Bitcoin, because if they legalize it officially, they will build university and some institute where officially people will be learn about the consequences of Bitcoin usage.
But currently it's not possible due to allegation from the governments so the best option is guide them through social media by submitting videos about the significant of bitcoin adoption.

Actually in Europe/America the percent of people not familiar with bitcoin is pretty the same, and misconception is not uncommon too. As for education... It depends on the type of works someone is planning to do with cryptocurrencies: I think that investment doesn't require specific education, it is just the question of having some money affordable for investment along with general invesing experience. As for studies on specific cryptography, hardware, software, programming and management of cryptoprojects, there surely are some new programs in most universities of the world, and it can turn out that some third world universities teach things better than those in Europe/America. So, for specific education the best way to start is to contact local school of higher education about cryptocurrency programs...

You might be wrong in the sense that, Nigeria isn't an European country and still, they rate so high as one of the bitcoin adopters even in the face of a government that is antibitcoin.

Now the argument might be that this is just a fraction doing large numbers but, is that really it?
For a we know, if that be it then, it could as well apply in Europe-America  and the rest part of the world.

Many have got the idea of bitcoin, are familiar with the term but, should we look at it from the part of having an in depth knowledge,  this is limited to a handful of the population.

Well, lack of education is widespread in the entire world specifically in Africa ( generally third world countries). To be honest, it’s not easy to solve this issue permanently due to a lot of factors such as poverty, homelessness, lack of internet access, wars. And regarding Bitcoin, we have seen some development in understanding the way Bitcoin works and in general cryptocurrencies plus blockchain. And in my opinion, if the governments recognized Bitcoin and added Blockchain in educational lessons, that would make a lot people have a proper knowledge on Bitcoin.
Moreover, Bitcoin will be definitely more recognized in a lot countries especially the poor ones, it is just about time to achieve that. And El Salvador was the best example. it became the first country who recognize the best digital currency.

Not all governments in every country hold the same stance towards the existence of Bitcoin and blockchain technology. There are still some governments that are open to Blockchain technology and legalize the use of Bitcoin for transactions.

Meanwhile, other factors influencing the acceleration of knowledge development on Bitcoin in a country can stem from various aspects, such as local culture, infrastructure, technological advancement, educational level, and many more.

The image above depicts the map of internet infrastructure distribution in every country worldwide, where the lowest internet penetration rates are found in the African continent (data as of 2021).
Only 1.7% of Somalia's population is covered by the internet. Isn't this quite risky for the future?
And if you take a look, the percentage for each country, here are some countries that have the lowest percentage of internet users:

Actually this is not how it should be. However, it cannot be denied that education about Bitcoin to the public is rather lacking, especially in several countries. This may be due to many factors. and especially one of them when the media raises Bitcoin news with all its negative effects, then that will enter the opinion and minds of the public in general. Meanwhile, not all people are willing to cross-check information first. So this makes various opinions less appropriate in society. And this is sometimes what makes Bitcoin worse.
But actually, wherever we are, there is no limitations where you are going to be ready for learning Bitcoin or not, whatever the media and the ways to learn.

Based on the topic, if you think you don't have proper education on Bitcoin, the internet is there for everyone to try and make research to know what is happening so far I'm the crypto market. We are twenty first century and is not the time when we will be telling people or trying much to teach tell all about Bitcoin and what Bitcoin is capable of doing in there life.

nowadays we no longer depend on books if we want to learn something coz with the aid of internet and easy to access gadgets, we can browse faster and easily to whatever we wanted to learn. aside from that bitcoin was made in order to supplement the growing/development of technology which we are using nowadays. there have been a lot of speculations we see already regarding the integration of AI in various aspects of technology including cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

I'm of course echoing others here, but what you write simply isn't true.  Sure, there are some places on earth where knowledge around bitcoin is very low, but there's plenty of places outside of America-Europe that have a strong understanding of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.  Now it's impossible to put a precise percentage on it, as to "what percentage of this country knows about bitcoin" but there's plenty outside this are you speak of that have a sizable portion of the population and least knowing what bitcoin is.

Now poor education is universal.  Here in the US, bitcoin may be well known and becoming more and more popular /bought, but 98% of people still don't have a fucking clue what it really is or how it works.  Same goes for basic finance too, however, and sadly.

Please correct me if I am wrong
Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
OP you mentioned here that 80% to 90% people in your country don't know about Bitcoin. Maybe your country has not yet started to touch technology like that. A country advances in every way when technology reaches its country. Maybe here I am sure you said about Bangladesh. In fact, Bangladesh is far behind in terms of technology. Most of the people here are less educated and unemployed. But slowly people are moving towards technology and there will come a time when they will seriously consider cryptocurrency as technologically advanced.
