I dey surprise say I neva see this tori here o. As e be like this now, if you get moto just dey ready 1k every year wey you go take proof say the moto na your own. This one dey different from vehicle particluars o. I hear say before the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) dey give this document free of charge before but now, you need to drop something. Well read the full gist here: https://guardian.ng/news/motorists-to-pay-n1000-for-proof-of-ownership-certificate-from-july/

How una see this matter? Shey na positive development? The concern wey one of my padi raise be say, hope say after you don pay the money finish for the document, you nor go need pay again if you go Lagos or Jos or change geographical location? Because all these rogue officers fit talk say, the one you pay for Lagos dey different? Another thin be say, as e nor too bad like that make them help us still fix our roads so that when we dey pay we go know say we get better roads wey worth the payment.

Guy this thing no dey help matter for this country at all see if them wan generate money due to the bills Naija dey owe, no mean say them go just dey force the thing on humanity at large shey the POOR FIT BREATHE so because like this the matter don choke any how. The road matter that one na story for another time because me wey dey drive high-way i no fit talk weytin i dey use my eye see for road. The 1k no too bad just as u talk but guy this law no make sense.

The corruption wey dey wori naija don eat deep. Imagine this tin wey be free before don dey add charge. How dis one go take stop piple wey dey tif cars. We get the issue of tax wey dey choke now dis one don add, biko make una pity the masses na

According to the last vehicular statistics that was taken in 2018 (i.e 5yrs ago), I'm made to understand that Nigeria has over 11 million registered vehicles, which I'm sure by now that number must have doubled or tripled. But however, let me just assume the number is still 11million, which means if that 11million is to pay #1k annually, that means the Federal governments will be generating #1000 X 11million =  #11billion alone from people proving they actually own the car they are driving. Of which to me is not a big deal if only by next year, that 1k will not be tripled to 3k or 5k annually, and yet the money not used to ensure that our roads are worthy of use for our Nigerian drivers nation wide.
