"Lots of random words I don't understant" : well crypto knowledge involves a boring part in which time is wasted in introducing concepts without which most of the speeches read here seem "random words".

"Nothing cool happening" : it is not a party, a movie, a football game or a rockstar concert. Not sure what you are waiting for.

Am around since 2013,  I've missed a lot of what happened since then but I never experienced a boring day in crypto yet.

First of all, welcome to the forum. If you stay on for the ride I am sure you will change your opinion over a period of time and I hope you build up your accounts while you contribute positively to the forum and end up joining a well paying signature campaign.

Second, if you are not enjoying your time here in this forum (and I have gone through your post history and noticed you have not exactly contributed positively or written beyond a couple of lines in most of your posts), you should find information and entertainment elsewhere because there are many crypto and non-crypto related forums out there.

Regardless of what you decide to do next, I hope you take steps which you do not find boring.

You have to be specific on what you are trying to say you're an old member here you've been here since 2014 what are those things that are so boring to you when so many great things are happening now, we are not good at guessing and we are open to helping you understand on what you called random and what's this pyramid build, include those topics so we can analyze and see if it's really boring

Every investment asset space has to do with hype and it is never right for you to trust any top or experienced poster message without Dyor. It is not done in any investment space unless you're lazy about doing your own research.

The impression I also have is maybe cryptocurrency is not meant for the OP because he was into the market when I didn't join the space but she/he left before coming back again.
If he sees the market as something boring and only wastes time on the concept when some of the institutional investment companies that are not interested in crypto now filing for spot ETF then crypto is not meant for him.

I've literally read your post like 10 times but still yet to extract any sense from it, don't mean to be rude but all I'm saying is that if you could be more specific with your words and be more informative then I believe you can be well understood, and possibly find a few people on the forum with experiences who could actually give you advice or informations that could be of help to you.

I don't know what you feel is hyped but if you're referring to this platform then I can assure you that you're totally mistaken and have the wrong point of view of what the platform is all about. On the contrary, in my opinion this platform isn't getting enough credit at all because this platform is embedded with vast knowledge, not just about Bitcoin like the name implies but offer knowledge on other subject matters. So I'm pretty sure if you give the platform a chance, you'll learn so much from here. I've only been here for a little while but I learn everyday here and trust me when I say the knowledge I've accumulated from this platform is none like no other and I'm still learning more things everyday.

Fun fact: No one is forced to stay and use Bitcointalk. If you're bored, simply do something else! Lot's of productive things to do outside of Bitcointalk, really. Bitcoin is mostly a buy and hold asset anyway — you can simply not read anything about bitcoin and you'll still be fine in 5 years.

To me OP sounds like someone who is actually not into Bitcoin but this forum was recommended to him by someone who is very enthusiastic about Bitcoin and Asymmetric cryptography.
Just think about it and out yourself in his shoes for a minute, you are invited by your friend into you have never studied or been I interested about and most of the information you got about the topic you are being introduced becomes from mainstream media and from Fudsters which have compared this project to a piramid scheme and similar fraudulent stuff. Obviously, noone under such conditions or circumstances will find this place to be constructive.

Anyone who would be interested in this community would not complain about strange words they cannot understand, they would try to find the meaning of them on the internet and come back here to further educate themselves and perhaps earn some bucks in the way.
Let us not judge OP, since this would happen to anyone of us if we were invited to a cheese forum while we are lactose intolerant.

To be serious I don't see any hype but reality and if you're talking about Bitcoin's price and its values then you should learn about it first before calling it hype or something like that. However, if you're talking about something else then you need is to make another post in which you describe that thing in detail. Your current post lacks information and with such limited information no one will be able to know what you're trying to say.

I really can't comprehend that which words you're claiming as random if it's about seed words of a wallet then that makes sense but still I can't understand your post because it lacks information and the questions or the opinion you're trying to share with us isn't clear. Has any poster done something wrong with you? If yes, then you should mention that in detail.

There are many bitcoin investors out there without engaging on bitcointalk to discuss. If you are not happy being in bitcointalk for one reason or another - then just leave your account and forget everything. You just need to focus on how your assets grow - after all, for train yourself not only by reading, but also in several other ways.

But wait - I don't think this is about bitcoin and its discussion, but this is about altcoin. Is that true?

Your account appears to be very old, even older than my bitcoin knowledge, and you are complaining of the forum being so boring. I don't know what others who are just coming in here are going to say, as many people should be looking up to accounts like yours as role models if they have been active and could have also classified it as an OG account.
 
When you talk about the forum being boring, do you mean in terms of the kind of discussion that goes on in the forum or what? You can also start with the kind of topics you want to engage in and have such discussions that won't be boring on your side again, as for me, my time in this forum has never been a boring season.

The notion this is his only account (which dates back many years) and in that time he has not really made even one post of significance, is highly unlikely. On many occasions we see forum accounts that are used in very strange ways. I do not know what the OP is trying to do by sporadically posting with minimal effort.

Bitcointalk isn't about entertainment, if you're looking for something fun, you probably should go to TikTok or Youtube. And if you don't like Bitcointalk, why you're still here, nobody isn't forcing you to stay on forum

you can always look at other forums or social media. bitcointalk can't cater to what everyone needs so I am not surprised if you feel that way, this is not the first time someone has expressed this type of opinion about the forum. anyway, I heard a lot of drama is going on on Reddit, perhaps you'd be more engaged there on whatever it is that you are interested in.
