I saw from the parade, and in my opinion a person's gambling addiction can be reduced if the person understands well what the consequences are if he is too addicted to gambling then he will be able to lose money quickly and easily, when previously they had a lot of money and when you have a luxury property with often addicted to gambling, your money will run out and many of the properties you own will be sold, and it can be concluded that the consequences of gambling addiction are truly terrible for a person's life.

Seeing this parade we can also learn not to be addicted so that our lives are safe and comfortable. Gambling is fine as long as we know the limits of playing and are always alert to maintain good control.

      -  As for me, I can't see where in that parade it will help to reduce gambling addictions, but if I look back, it seems that it even encourages people to gamble using the apps that have the game gate of Olympus.

And the people who witnessed that parade did not have the same understanding of what they wanted to convey or the theme of why they did it in a place like a barangay or district. Therefore, for me, it will not help if people are aware of the need to avoid gambling, especially minors.

Athough the main purpose of the parade is to educate people about the negative effect of slot games or gambling in general but on the other side, such a parade can be seen as a free advertisement for the slot game.
Simply because it is in public places, not all people who watch the parade are gamblers and I'm sure there are so many underage people who watched it and might be curious to know about what is being presented by parade because they never seen it before.

Athough the main purpose of the parade is to educate people about the negative effect of slot games or gambling in general but on the other side, such a parade can be seen as a free advertisement for the slot game.

I agree that the other thing you mentioned is true, like that not all people who are in the parade are aware of the gambling they are showing, and it is also true that it is also a kind of advertisement method done by those coordinators.

Some factor that have contributed greatly to the lack of ability to defeat addictions is personal willingness from the addict himself and that must have to do with the ability to defeat the addiction in your mind and head first before every other things,  most times it's better to prevent addiction than to fight it because in fighting addiction you must be prepared to fight an almost impossible evil to defeat,  some times you may need to visit a doctor for some prescriptions.

Most of the time,  many people fail to understand these factors and choose to work much more as preventive than prescription or treatment of addictions.

There's no way on that you could really be able to quit up gambling if you dont really be able to have that kind of will and control on which you are really that liking to quit.

True, I like how the video gives the message that only people that can really have comprehension will understand what the message of the video implies. It's really true that although gambling is subject to fun and entertainment, there's a high percentage that gamblers often become tooabsorbed in gambling, which will lead to their problem of addiction. Yes,  in gambling you could earn; there's a possibility there, but the thing is, there is no guarantee about it; only lucky people can have it. I'm not even sure how many times we said to the gamblers to stop being addicted or prevent building up addiction to gambling; they will never wake up until they reach the point where there is no turning back. The other one said, "Only the person with strong will" will overcome himself and control himself from bad things like gambling addiction. Many times,  why there have been a lot of setbacks in the recovery processes for addicts is because many of them are not willing to fight the addictions this could be as a result of third-party pressure to quit active gambling.

So for sure,  the individual himself must first of all have the willingness to quit before talking anyone into believing that he is taking constant steps towards defeating the hold of addictions.

I think that it can`t help. The parade will attract attention and popularize slots. Even if the organizer thinks differ. No one need such parade except someone, who get profit from it. Someone interest, someone decide that he hasn`t any problems with gambling. And as result we get new addicts.

On the other hand, this parade tries to show the public how dangerous gambling is, but for those who have never gambled, it actually provides an opportunity to find out more deeply and can have the opposite impact. The parade had good intentions but saw the dark side of exposing themselves to their own gambling in front of the public. Isn't it a little riskier? I know exactly what this parade is, but for some reason exposing it to the public will give rise to various speculations, both from the positive side and certainly not without the negative side. It could trigger people who are not familiar with gambling to stimulate their curiosity by starting to look for gambling.

Rehabilitation works both ways, if other people don't offer to help these people even if they are willing to get help then their recovery and rehabilitation either won't speed up or won't be effective causing them to relapse. Of course it should be that recovery should be more on the person's willingness to recover but we should be helping these people even if we think that they don't deserve it or that they are going to go back to their addiction, everyone in the society should help each other in any way that we can, the people are the foundation of a society right?

The willpower you just mentioned is so powerful to the point that if everybody has it, then the therapy and psychiatry industry would be so poor. But unfortunately, the reserve is the case in our society, people often do not fight for it or train themselves to maintain the sanity that will help their willpower to grow. In gambling, I believe it's good for gamblers who are adults to be able to control themselves, good, it's not all of us who are mature, but this shouldn't be so obvious in our ability to restrain what is bad. The moment you start gambling, the first thing have to come into your mind is how you will not let this thing control you. If you could have this in mind with determination, I'm sure you will be able to resist even without external help. Yep, a little willpower and a helping hand can go a long way for a gambling addict. Someone who acknowledges the fact that the addiction is a problem and they want to get rid of it can find a person who can help them get away from gambling slowly by engaging them with other activities and not allowing them to gamble at all, or maybe let them gamble but keep reducing the time every day so that they can get rid of the addiction after some time, like a month or so.

Such parades, seminars, or any other event that is held for educational purposes can only raise awareness among people who aren't into gambling yet just to give them a general idea of what it can cause them if they get addicted to it, these events cannot make an addicted gambler stop gambling.

Looking at the video, it seems that what the public will get from the parade about the gambling campaign, especially slots, is just the humor, while the moral message may not be as impactful, although it is possible that there will be people who will be awakened by seeing the parade.
In fact, on social media there are also quite a lot of videos that provide education about the importance of being careful in gambling, especially slot games, how a person can become bankrupt from previously owning a car, then because of slot gambling, it decreases to motorbikes, then to bicycles and finally becomes homeless.
We must appreciate every action to make people realize how dangerous gambling is if done without responsibility, but it will all come back to each person when they see campaigns like that, some finally realize it but many still gamble and even become addicted because everyone has free will to choose especially when he keeps seeing how people who have won a lot show off their results so he becomes so tempted.
