Dubai, a playground for developers, architects and engineers has given birth to many iconic buildings with different stories to tell. It is known for it's mind-blowing and ground-breaking edifices and skyscrapers. Today, it is at the forefront of history as it's going to be home to the world's first bitcoin tower. The developer, Salvatore Liggiero designed the 40 storey tower to demonstrate Bitcoin significance and also as a sign of recognition for the world's number one cryptocurrency. The bitcoin tower hopes to take the hospitality industry to a whole new level as guests will be able to make rental payment in the form of crypto-staking producing an annual percentage yield (APY) for them to claim during their stay in the hotel.

This idea is not the brainchild of the government or Dubai, neither are they the financiers. This project is spearheaded by Salvatore Leggiero, a real estate developer, and Simone Micheli an architect. These entrepreneurs will have to seek for approval, funds and land to carry out this project. I hope they will have access to the funds they need to make this project a reality so that it wouldn't be like other ambitious Bitcoin projects that we later abandoned. If the government approves the project, it will mean that they are in support of the project. Nevertheless, this project when completed will lead to Bitcoin awareness and adoption.

I hope the design which created by the architecture will not become really different when civil engineer want to start construction because it's not easy for civil engineer to make sure such design is strong and not harm the other buildings. If the Bitcoin tower isn't strong and collapse, people will spread FUD around talking if Bitcoin will dump and destroyed etc lol.

El Salvador and Central African Republic have accept Bitcoin as legal tender but they're not construct a Bitcoin tower, will Dubai accept Bitcoin as legal tender?

Are you serious? They are not going to hire an amateur engineer or newbie constructors for this, such projects are assigned to the most skilled individuals and workers that don't make mistakes as you are describing, and Dubai has always been known for its skyscraper constructions from the past and they will obviously going to make this one a historic one as well.

This is obviously going to be a great thing for Bitcoin overall, the adoption level will increase, more people all over the world will come to know about Bitcoin and its significance, and every single citizen and tourist of Dubai will see Bitcoin through the tower.

Good marketing, definitely something that may attract a lot of crypto companies as well, why not have an office at the "bitcoin tower" if you are a bitcoin company and if the laws are abiding to bitcoin as well and not really making it harder, then Dubai could very well be a nation that will benefit from this.

I keep saying that taxes are what makes a nation poor, keep the taxes low to business and high to individuals and you will have very rich companies, and the richer a person is the more you should tax them. This way there will be a ton of rich companies, and not a lot of rich people, so in order to spend what the company has, it will have to spend a lot to local other people, workers, other companies, resources. Dubai is on a great path right now.
