I agree with the OP that nothing good comes easily, because something that's worth having is sometimes not easily gotten, for instance to achieve success you need to work hard with good discipline and commitment to get to the peak , though in life, there are three kinds of people.
Someone defined successfully to be,
When preparation is met with opportunity.
That doesn't mean you worked hard but, you happened to be ready when the opportunity was ripe and so, you grabbed it.
Nothing good comes easy is a hard phrase to put any finite objectivism to and as such, it remains subjective to persons.
We can as well say, quick money or money made easily are spent just easily as well. That'll be true but, it neglects the other useful cases where, the individual did proper money management.
Again, it's subjective.
