I am surprised that the predictions did not contain controversial news such as fees issues, platform bankruptcy, country ban, country accepting Bitcoin, a company buying Bitcoin and other news that directly or indirectly indicates the price.
All predictions are made according to the current price of Bitcoin, and it can easily be expected that the news will be positive or negative, but the truth requires a deeper look at the market.

Perhaps they don't want to stir controversial specially about the fees as we could anticipate that in the next bull run, it will be like 2017 high tx fees again, but this time, 2025 might be huge in terms of fees, more than what we are seeing right now.

But as far as those predictions by Bitwise, some of us already had that in mine, like new all time high, ETF approval/s.

We will just have to wait and see how everything will go on the next bull run, specially how far can we go in terms of price and new all time high.

Yeah I noticed lately these 10 or so etf providers are all in the headlines and all over twitter which want to stand out and gain market share. So if the etf is approved people will invest in their etf instead of blackrocks.

Pretty crazy how in the past you have maybe 3-4 etf being applied for but now we got over 3 times the amount. The fact that they are applying for these, means that they think it has a very good chance of actually being approved.

This makes everyone have that positive outlook because we're on the anticipation of bull run by 2024-2025.
That's why all that we're going to see from these predictions are going to be mostly high.
And then as we get closer to the actual bull run and speculations of these high prices, we'll get to see more from different institutions and known ones for sure.

Prediction 10: A major upgrade to the Ethereum blockchain will drive the average transaction cost below $0.01, paving the way for more mainstream uses.

If Ethereum succeeds with its upgrade to benefit their users with transaction fee to below $0.01 per transaction, it will be a massive success for Ethereum and ETH will have very good bull run.

I doubt Ethereum can succeed and since 2017, since Crypto Kitties FOMO and Ethereum congestion, their developers failed to get it. In 2021 and 2022, with DeFi and dApps, Ethereum transaction fee became expensive again.

I can't believe this is the same Bitwise that used to be at least reputable and original.

Now posting a rather basic listicle of predictions anyone in the forum could have made, and nothing even that daring, revealing or inspiring.

That's something I would expect from a company supposedly investing tons into research. Not even a mention of newer technologies like new ERCs or proposals?

Taylor Swift doing NFTs when Ronaldo getting sued I don't think so.

If new technologies appear with ERCs Ethereum tokens, then the cost of Ethereum will increase, as written in the forecast. I have been mining Ethereum for a very long time and there have always been problems with high payment costs. A planned update is not enough to reduce the cost of commissions.
