The best choice someone can make is to hold. It may not be an easy choice, but that's why I don't advise people to take out loans to invest in bitcoin because you can not actually forecast the price every single second. And people should find other ways to make money so that they won't have to worry about what they have invested in bitcoin. Many investors just focus on investing in bitcoin, which is bad for business because you could have to sell since you have no other options for making money. Investment in bitcoin is not recommended for those who are easily depressed due to the price, which has not been in anyone's favor for a while. Very soon everything will fall in place for does that have been patient.

In my opinion, if you believe that holding Bitcoin for years was a good decision because price will be possibly reach its ATH then there's nothing wrong to invest early than $25k. It hurts to be left behind by the market that you waited for so long. So in order to avoid that scenario, I would suggest to diversify your capital and buy a portion of your capital everytime the price goes down.

That is why I do not care about 27k or 25k as well. I mean I am going to hold this for many years, probably over a decade which means that I shouldn't really care about what's going on and that should be fine. I get that not many people think about it the same way and maybe we are going to end up with something that will be a lot more dangerous in the long run if we keep on waiting to buy.

I think that short-term transactions, are already trading, if you buy bitcoin for several weeks, or months, and then sell it, then these are definitely short/middle-term transactions. If you had bought bitcoin in April 2021 at 60k, then even more than two years later, your investment would still be at a significant loss, so the time and price of the purchase is very important for investing.

There are lots of cases where investors are waiting for a certain dip that is bound not to happen and they end up buying 2x their target price.  The lesson here is that we can try to put some amount while waiting for our target buying price.  Or we can cost average our way to accumulating BTC so that we won't miss out on the current price if the market move in a different direction in the following days.

You are wrong in your statement here. Bitcoin is somthing you can know when to buy. You can also know when to hold. It is simple to buy low depending on the difference prices bitcoin has attained and the ATH. When to hold it not really affected by the price condition but how long you are willing to leave your investment in bitcoin.
The factor that makes it difficult to determine is actually when to sell, anyone that has an investment plan should also know the right time he stipulated to exit the market and when that time comes, the best thing is to exit to avoid indecisions.

My take on bitcoin in 2023 by the way it bought and was pumping pumping and pumping was like it will never stop. I thought it was my year to make my money and keep much of Bitcoin in my wallet. But the dullness of over 2 months has changed my mind. The scenario poured coldness in my mind but again let me know that bitcoin behaves like an asset and asset has the time to buy and sell not the way I thought it will always be be buying.

On the time that desperations turns out to be too much, then this is the time you would really be finding yourself into a possible or potential impulsive approach on things on making up decisions which is something that would bring out a disaster rather than on being beneficial. Of course everything would really be needing up that patience but on the sense that those target or goal should be somewhat realistic. Waiting for $25? Its almost we do able to hit up those numbers but eventually the price now is starting to go into opposite direction which it is current $27k as of this writing.

If you do go for long term with Bitcoin then buying or getting some entries wont really be an issue since you could really be able to enter without having those doubts or trouble because youve been able to buy on high price but since we are still having that sideways movement then it wont really be that much of an issue or something to mind on but if you are a trader then entering back
on $25k then you would really be needing to have those kind of technical analysis kind of approach and just pray that the market would really be going back into those numbers.

When we invest, it's meant to be held for a long time before profits can be made, only a lucky few invest and get an instant profits. When people chase quick money investment, they lose more money than they make but people aren't aware of this problem.

We have to hold if we want to make profit, selling doesn't give you profit and if you want to sell now that the market will soon recover, you're doing the wrong thing and you'll be filled with regrets when you check back on the market and see your coins pumping.

Keep on holding, Bitcoin price will rise in the future and the price of Bitcoin could rise to $100,000 in the next bull cycle. Don't sell your Bitcoin now or you'll regret like those that sold before the last pump that happened in March.

Waiting for a deeper decline will miss the opportunity for the OP to buy as the price is again showing a gradual recovery although a small correction is still taking place in the market now and going forward. One way he can do it is like the suggestion you gave by using DCA and if there is indeed a decline for the next month, he can take the second option by making large purchases according to his wishes and the targets he expects.

Doubt will only prevent OP from buying because he is too worried about waiting for the right conditions to buy, even though under any circumstances he can adjust to the DCA pattern and doesn't have to wait for such a sharp decline to buy. If there are too many considerations in the decision then unfortunately he will not have a chance to see the halving in the next period and lose the opportunity to make a big profit in the next ATH.

Actually there is no need to regret when bitcoin doesn't touch the price we want, because of course we already know bitcoin price movements are unpredictable, in other words our predictions cannot be 100% correct. So from here we need to realize that we have to adopt a strategy that doesn't leave us behind, as you said, the DCA strategy can be a solution to that uncertainty. With DCA we can buy bitcoin at a price close to our predictions, even though it turns out that in the end the decline is more than what we expected we can continue buying with the money we have prepared.

That's what I kept telling people for years. The time to buy is always good, but it can be better. It a;; depends on how long you can wait.
If you buy bitcoin at ATH, you may have to wait 4-5 years for profit, but if you do it at an average price, maybe 40% of ATH, you shouldn't have to wait more than 2 years for an opportunity to either exit with small profit, or at least without a loss.
If you have at least 5 years in mind, you can buy at any moment. I'm sure within that time bitcoin is going to experience a bull market.
I've held for 8 years and it gets easier with every passing year.

movement which might cause for you to alter out your goals or targets which you should be holding for too long.Its true that price movement wouldnt really be an issue if you are really that serious on sticking into your goal. This market would really be involving with lots of ups and downs on which each one of us does have their own takings or approach on how to deal up with this volatility. Holding level would really be
depending on someone because not all would really be that emotionally stabled on sticking on their plans along the way.
