Bear market season is okay for me in terms of investing but not in doing trade. Because it is difficult to get a profit during the bear market season, especially if the method we are going to use to get a profit is Short-term.

But the pro-traders when there is a bear market, what they do is futures trading and margin trading, that's why it's not possible for newbies, that's what I know. Because it's too complicated to do when you come in here to try it.
yeah I also like the bear market because in the bear market the prices for altcoins and bitcoin are cheap compared to the prices during the bullish,
when the prices are bearish then I don't worry about holding altcoins,
because the prices are already at the bottom and I'm sure altcoins can achieve x10 or even x100 profits in bull season.

Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Either.
It all depends on how good you are because there are traders that make more during the bear and the same goes for some that do it better in the bull run.
But if I'll speak for myself, I'd say that it's during the bull run. Because it's like easy to predict what will happen as most of the coins in the market are going to be up thanks to the bull season.

Most professional traders prefer the bear season, which, in my opinion, is the best period to conduct critical study on crypto projects, uncover ethical road maps, and invest in them for a possible solid future. The bull season is most likely harvest time; we reap what we sow in the market. Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Two things for me during the bear season, and from what you've described it could be that people buy during bear season so they can sell during bull which you called "harvest time". The scene you painted there should be more appropriately described as accumulating period to hodl or if anyone actually trades at such a time it would be on Futures and margin trade, not the regular spot trading. People hardly make money trading spot during bear season because price is on dip. How do you buy high and sell low? Nobody does that and maintains profit. Basically, you get to find hodlers than traders during bear season, except they're trading futures or so.

Cryptocurrency is risky, and while we are aware of the basic requirements that must be in place in order to profit significantly, not all of us are aware of an appropriate season to trade.

An experienced trader will tell you that there is a lot of money to be made in the market, whether it is in a bull or bear market; it is how experienced you are that determines how much money you will make in the market. As an average trader, I will buy and hold coins during this period because it is very easy to understand the market by holding coins now and trading during the bull market, times like this are difficult to make money in spot trading unless you want to add futures and margin into your trading strategy, which I would not advise because they are very risky.

You are right. If someone has good skills in trading, he can get profits both in bearish and bullish seasons. The chance for profits can come at any time, it doesn't depend on the season. However, since the prices tend to drop during the bearish season, the chance for profits isn't as many as in the bullish season. So, it is true that we are easier to predict the price pump/increase during the bullish season than in the bearish season. That's why many people become more active to trade in the bullrun season.

Skills is so important in trading since whatever season it comes, we can maximize the opportunity shows each season we encounter and it takes a lot of effort then also time before we can be in situation where we became a good trader.

Much better we should forget about seasons since we can make a basis on what might be the next scenario will came and then we can plan our next action with it. To many opportunities what bearish and bullish season can bring it just we need to be skilled enough to spot it.

You shouldn't actually have the thought that you will become a millionaire in a bull season because that is not what cryptocurrencies are for, you might manage to get some profits and for some tokens or coins, the profits might be a bit higher, but it happens in very rare cases where a person becomes a millionaire for the investments they've made in a bear season when bull season arrives.

The bear season should be everyone's favorite since it provides us with the opportunity to buy every cryptocurrency at a discounted price and when the market starts moving up after the bear season is over, we start getting profits and that is such a great feeling to see your portfolio grow gradually.

And it could be a fake influencer whose actually good portfolio is purely by luck, not professionally.
I suddenly remember the last bullish season, surprisingly many "influencers" came up on social media showing off their shitcoin portfolios and then teaching their followers how to trade. I haven't seen them lately.

That's right, I have seen a bunch of them that has just come to become influencers, and then their contents were boasting of their portfolios. It's truly possible that they've been lucky with their portfolio and they're explaining that it's all about how researchful and good they are in analysis. They can fool new ones but not me and for sure the others here. Even those that are not into crypto, suddenly made content about investing in meme coins and random altcoins that they're saying were good to make them some money. Too many misleading influencers encourage new people and dictate what to invest.

Sometimes even the bear market is not safe because it might take longer for the market to move towards the bull, Even when the bull starts it will take price to move above our price entry point before we make profit. I think understanding both seasons makes a better trader. With the TA a trader will know how long to hold both in the bear and bull season, the beauty of investment is when we remain in profit no matter what season it is.

Both the bull and bear seasons in crypto trading have their advantages. During the bear season, prices are low, making it a good time to research crypto projects and invest in those with solid potential for the future. The bull season, on the other hand, is when prices are rising, and traders can reap the rewards of their investments. It's a matter of personal preference and strategy. Some like the bear season for research, while others prefer the bull season for potential profits. Just remember to do your homework and manage your risks.

Is there a really season? I don’t know but I think you can say every four year we can see mega change in the Bitcoin trading pattern and that’s because of the halving event. We all know this is the real Timeline when things kinda start to move and react back with popular profitable trends. Now it’s not any sort of season but yeah I think that’s the most wanted time period for me to touch my wallets and take out the bitcoins for good. Otherwise the only way to keep Bitcoin profitable is to hodl them. Also I highly doubt that there is any sort of season for a perfect trade?

When the strategy actually works on your trading plan then you will probably profit from it regardless of the season.
I tend to think that the 18 months before the halving is the best time to start getting into the market and buying some of the best performing cryptos for a long term investment. It is more likely that traders or investors who do so have the opportunity to buy at a lower buy price than buy at any time except on a dips.

No, of course I don't agree. But if you are an experienced trader and can make good use of your trading strategy then profits can be expected but I think you will still find it difficult to get them consistently.

Not sure if OP meant to say investing here or trade  Roll Eyes

Because frankly speaking, anybody that trades the charts knows that market don't move in one direction , and this means you can profit from either directions by going long or short.

But the most likely time not to trade crypto is usually around the festive season has their is less liquidity in the markets as most people spend time away from the markets during this time, but then again the run up to this period is also the most volatile as people are trying to cash in to have some money to spend on family and if you can catch a runner here its some super fast profits for you.
So when it comes to trading,  trading knows no season  but if its investing here we might consider it.

It seems to me that usually cryptocurrency is not tied to the season at all. To reports, and other things - yes. But by the time of year, definitely not.
Maybe you have forgotten that everything has season which makes that effect of something to be less important at some particular time. We have the season to buy and the season to sell and make good profits from the market. Those who does not know when to sell and when to buy are people that do not have proper understanding about the crypto market. The value of the entire cryptocurrency market is less now because the price of Bitcoin is down and we are all waiting for it to go up so more altcoins will gain more value and increase the worth of the entire .market with time.

Cryptocurrency is risky, and while we are aware of the basic requirements that must be in place in order to profit significantly, not all of us are aware of an appropriate season to trade.
Bullish season will always be the ideal season to trade. However, if you have been a long time trader in the market, you will discover that there are good opportunities to trade even if the market is still bearish. As long as you know already how to trade successfully even if the market condition is not favorable, then it will never be a problem anymore. But you should be more knowledgeable and skillful when trading in the market, as that will increase your chances of making you profitable regardless of the market condition.

It seems to me that usually cryptocurrency is not tied to the season at all. To reports, and other things - yes. But by the time of year, definitely not.
It's because its volatility is visible during all seasons, no matter what season where we are there's not that much that changes at all if it's the volatility. During the bull run, we see crazy movements of its upwards and then during the bear market, we see crazy low and decreases a lot expectedly.

The value of the entire cryptocurrency market is less now because the price of Bitcoin is down and we are all waiting for it to go up so more altcoins will gain more value and increase the worth of the entire .market with time.
Yes and that's when the bull run comes. The entire market cap is low as of the moment but we'll see how it's gonna be up again when the bull run comes. We don't know how many times it will multiply but that's gonna be an assured thing when we come there.

Choosing just one is never an option. But in the trading process, based on your understanding and skills to analyze the market, you may find one season more profitable than the other. It's a common thing. And for me, investment (buy and HODL) is much more secure than doing trades in bear market. Many does this including me. Because I don't want to constantly monitor the market every second in order to open or close certain trades. And in a bear market, there's a high chance of getting liquidated. I like to play the game safe.
And if you bought in a bear market, when the bull run starts, all you have to do is set a target amount of profits and then when the target is filled, sell.

So now to answer your question, in bear season, the market stays quite unstable. It becomes hard to predict what will happen next. I have faced 2 bear market in my crypto career, and I am saying this from my own experience. The market stays so much volatile in that period of time. So you need to take high risk if you want to trade in a bear season. High risks, high gain.

But when the market is somewhat stable, you can predict the market much better. And there will be a steady flow in the market and every movement will have a reason behind it.

So if you are risk-taker, bear market it is. But you also need proper knowledge on trading. But if you are a decent trader with basic knowledge to carry out a trade with profits, then the time when the market is kind of stable should be your choice. Mine is a stable market because I am not a high risk-taker.
