Its discouraging but its somehow the truth. I guess some of us are actually looking for the new coin that can rise the same as BTC's rise. Unfortunately, there is nothing like BTC. A regular person who has no funds to invest will just have to keep DCAing until you get that rare 1BTC.

You still get financial freedom. As long as you keep earning, you're not too late because 0.005 BTC today may just save your life in the next 10 years.

If you DCA, that means you have funds to invest. Some people are working and receiving salary weekly or monthly. DCA will be good for that type of people.

I think it's always better to enter when the price is down, seeing this way you are in at the correct time only. Imagine if you would have entered at top of 69k you would be crying right now and cursing bitcoin for taking away your hard earned savings. @OP the Bitcoin industry is still young and the potential for growth is still there.  Only a few percentage of the global population are into Bitcoin so we can expect a larger audience if mass adoption happen.  Aside from that, the Bitcoin market is cyclical meaning, trading opportunities will always be available.  What we must observer is the price movement if we want to take advantage of the price fluctuation and the market sentiment and conditions.

I guess you are on the same frame of mind with me because a have been deeply core bitcoin investor wgo have zero time for distraction from other coins outside bitcoin and as a way lf formality I have set aside a fraction of my monthly income in accumulating Bitcoin at regular and monthly internal.

Let's not just hope and use the analysis of price predictors as the reasons for our Bitcoin purchase. Having a high profit in mind can actually be misleading sometimes. This is what leads most people to borrow because they will have to borrow funds that they don't have just to grab the chance of buying and accumulating big before the exact predicted price will come, so that they can actually be at an advantage, which is the worst move to make. Future price prediction doesn't actually work the way we predict it to.

So I advise that if you want to buy and hold, just buy and hold for the long term, not minding when the big day will actually come, because it might come when you least expect it. However, I do agree that we are going to see the situation a bit differently if we invest slowly and gradually. If we do that then we are going to end up with a good return on the long run, better than any other investment and it is still by far the best asset in the world, we should be looking into that and we would consider that a lot more important. I think we can join bitcoin any time, especially now where the bearish period hasn't ended yet so it's even more profitable for us if we want to start. if we join in 2021, maybe it's still floating minus right now, it's different if you join now, it will be easier to make a profit because the price is still below $30k. therefore taking advantage of opportunities will be better, at a time like this. but remember you have to learn to understand bitcoin before deciding to invest, so you don't make mistakes
