In my case, I have also experienced this kind of situation where I got some big amount of money in a young age where I got arrogant to my parents that I have a lot of money. There's a small group of self made rich people who definitely keep on striving to work their way up the financial ladder, but the an average person on the street might be content with an average wage in perpetuity without having to do any work (like living off dividends from a correctly sized and positioned stock portfolio).
