It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

OP... did you read the replies on this thread? everyone was against the platform and they all had good reasons for it.

In addition, even if this 100 bucks contract went fine, it doesn't mean you can trust the platform specially with a much larger amount as it could be a bait. Since we're talking about large amounts, the owner/scammer could even decide it's a good amount to run away and move to a new domain.

I read some news about this platform. https://business-magazine.biz/2023/06/04/the-legendary-mircea-popescu/ So i decided to find some info on that platform: www.spencer-invest.com It seems they offer a really good % on staking. Do you ever used it? I am thinking to put 1 btc on their platform, but not before I get some advice from someone who used it already.
Thank you.

the moment they listed verizon, paypal, and amazon in one section of their website, i could immediately conclude that this was a scam website which was built by a boy who had little experience in scams.

my advice is that you can avoid investment platforms that offer easy investment and good returns as easy as turning your palm. Most of these platforms are MLM platforms under the guise of investments where it's only a matter of time before their owners run away.

Sadly he reached out to the community for helpful advice, but in the end, he ignored it all and made his own decision. After all, for newbies, anyone's advice won't win over their greed. Let him try with it and get results with it, and he will understand what people have told him.
Newbies need lessons and experience, and all of that should be bought with money. That way, it really matters to them, free advice will never be worth anything until they pay for the lessons.

Ponzi or not, I've made a few hundred dollars just with the Invite options and also I have already 2 contracts and 2 withdraws. So as long as they pay, I don't see any problem, and I really don't care how they make the money.

I'm not sure if you're here to genuinely ask question about the site
It's actually a shill thread that's pushing people to look after the article and website that he has dropped. I wouldn't think twice if I'll look at those links.

or here for some clickbaiting shit
That really what it is, making it like a legit conversation but he has dropped those links and won't be back to reply.

You mean "i don't really care if other people lose money as long as I get my share"? Ponzis are scam and some sacrificial lambs inevitably will lose money but ig it's okay as long as it's not you lol.

Who knows if they even pay or how long will they do so. Frankly, I don't trust your words as you're a newbie rank who created this account just to defend a shady-ass business.

I hope you have your first lessons soon with 100$ after ignoring everyone's advice. It was a good decision, and I support you to do it. Because it is only when we lose money that we become wiser and more intelligent, being too secure will make us more stupid, but always boast of being better than others. There is no better advice or lesson than experiencing it yourself.

Either a ponzi or a straight up scam.

20% in 4 weeks is pretty high plus it's fixed hence, too good to be true. The fact that they claim it's made possible through their trading bot is even more nonsense because it's pretty impossible to generate consistently high af profits everytime which makes the model unsustainable - common thing with ponzis.

I highly doubt there is even a trading going on here lmao. If they had such method, they wouldn't waste time recruiting people lol.

Meta: I think this fits more in Service Discussion
This is a pretty old ponzi model which is being used once again by some scammers, I remember back in the day when Bitcoin wasn't this much popular, people used such scripts to lure in Bitcoin holders by promising big returns on their investments and run away with the funds after a few days of people investing their money. People at that time used to be more vulnerable to such scams compared to today.

Most of the time, such websites show some investment packages where they have a minimum investment amount and a maximum profit percentage for a specified timeframe but this one is a bit different because they are using the name of a trading bot to fool people.

Why do I have the feeling that OP is promoting this shady website? Grin
OP, you say that you wanted advise. The advise was pretty clear. "Stay away from such shady websites", but you still invested money in this.
I'm expecting you to make another post bragging about how much money you made out of this "investment scheme".
High Yield Investment Program scams (HYIP) exist since the early stages of internet(and even before that).
Are you really one of the people, who say "I don't care if this is a scam, I just want to make money by "investing" in some magical 1000% profit schemes a I expect ridiculous profits with no work." This doesn't seem really smart to me.
