Coinbase Wallet not showing all my BTC

I started using Coinbase Wallet and have sent two transfers of Bitcoin into it.  They both show up under transactions but only one in the total amount.  Therefore it says I can only send this amount from the wallet and not the total of the two transfers.  Anyone got any ideas as struggling to get info. from support?

I'm really worried about my $BTC and why I can't access it all.

If you can see the transaction in a blockexplorer, then you have nothing to be worried about.

Is the transaction you're not seeing in the total amount confirmed? If not, then that's probably why you can't spend it.

Can you share the txid here or check it on mempool.space to see if the one that's not showing in your wallet has any confirmation as that could be the reason.

It's been a couple of hours since you made this thread and since I dropped my reply here, I guess that would be more than enough time for the transaction to have gotten more than one confirmation judging from the fact that transaction fees are at a normal rate right now.
So what's the update Op? Same issue or has the balance reflected?

In the transaction history, did you see it to be unconfirmed? I mean the one not showing in your balance? Let it be confirmed and you will be able to spend it too.

If you want to be able to spend coins of unconfirmed transaction, you can use Electrum wallet. Also that Electrum is completely open source and has more features for bitcoin.

If one transaction is confirmed but the other one is not funded to your wallet there is a big posibiity that is a bug the same as what I experienced.

The only way you can fix this issue is by contacting them through their support.

There could be different reasons for this issue, it could be cause the second transaction has not gotten the required confirmations for it to reflect in your balance. Coinbase requires at least 2 confirmations for a transaction to be spendable as a security feature, this means that a transaction can de confirmed on chain but not yet on your coinbase account.

To avoid worrying about your bitcoins, use them on a non custodial wallet like electrum.

Hmm as many of the users already gave some information about I think you are facing the same problem as I was facing a few weeks back in Trust Wallet. I was also worried because in the Explorer the transaction was confirmed but at the same time, my wallet was not reflecting the balance. The problem was due to the network congestion.

Check dear your balance on Explorer if there your balance is updated then nothing to worry just check for any updates and wait patiently. Nothing t worry about it.

You might not get sufficient answers because of the wallet you're using, i don't expect too many experienced users to be using this wallet for their Bitcoins; anyway you have gotten some good exlanations on the possible cause of your problem. But just a little advise, don't use Coinbase wallet for your Bitcoins, it is a closed source wallet and what happened with Atomic wallet is still fresh in everybody's minds, so there is prolly no better time to move over to an open source wallet like Electrum, and if you have any inquiry about it, i'm pretty sure you'd be inundated with suggested solutions because it is one of the Bitcoin wallets that is widely recommended.

It means your transaction is yet to be confirmed that is why it's not added to the total balance but you can check the transaction status by clicking on the transaction itself if I am not wrong. You can spend once the transaction reached 6 confirmation.

I recommend you to use non custodial wallet for further BTC storage because coinbase wallet is web wallet and doesn't share the private keys with you so you can't access the funds without their permission.

Note that there are two different coinbase wallets. One of them is non-custodial and gives you a seed phrase and the other one is custodial.
I guess OP is referring to the non-custodial coinbase wallet here. If that's the case, he/she should be able to spend the fund once the receiving transaction gets one confirmation. It's also possible to import the wallet to electrum and spend the fund even when the receiving transaction is still unconfirmed.

It may worth mentioning that even their non-custodial wallet should be avoided. It's close source and there is no way to know how the keys are generated.

Hi everyone, sorry life got busy and I didn't get back to you all.

I read a suggestion to log out and log back in, when I did the total displayed correctly and it says I can send the whole amount.

I don't if this was a coincidence of timing and the transaction was confirmed or an issue with the app!!

[GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum. Download Electrum wallet, verify it like DireWolf14 wrote in this guide.

Trust wallet is close source and owned by Binance. It is not a good wallet to use if you prioritize open source and non custodial.

I noticed you mentioned Coinbase Wallet and Trust wallet, soooo are we talking about mobile wallets here? Electrum is the holy grail bitcoin software wallet for PC but last time I tried their android app, it's uh, too basic. I suggest you look into Blue Wallet instead if the situation is still the same. For ALTs there is also Unstoppable Wallet. Afaik both are open-source as well.

But op, if we're talking about decent amount of money here and/or storing for long term, you're better off looking into hardware wallets instead since they're not hot wallets hence you'll be minimizing a great amount of risk, see: Open Source Hardware Wallets
