This is because Real Madrid is extremely experienced in the Champions League and they have played so many finals and won majority of them. Dortmund in the order hand is considered the underdogs. Throughout this long season, Joselu played bad generally and it's not surprise as Real Madrid is a first big club in his career.

It's lucky for Real Madrid and Ancelotti that they suddenly got an incredible good performances from Jude Bellingham. Yes I get you Real Madrid are Real Madrid in the Champions league and Dortmund are also a big club but I tell you this there is a wider difference between those two clubs leave aside the club’s pedigree but the individuals involve in this two clubs. Let me start with Coaches, Real Madrid have Carlo Ancelloti who if I am not mistaken has been to most champions league finals than any other manager currently managing a team, this vast experience makes him to edges past Eden Terdzic who is just in his first and could be anxious and nervous about the whole and might end up making mistakes.

Then there is the players, Madrid have the likes of Kroos, Modric, Nacho and Carvajal who are going for their sixth finals and possibly their sixth champions league winning medals too. This kind of mentality is top notch and it is what every team will need in major final. Dortmund have players who are except Rues and Hummels haven’t got past the quarterfinals before in the team and this could create some nervousness too. I could remember Vinicius saying he had to ask Kroos how it was to play in the final last time Madrid got there, which was it first. This shows that experience matters a lot.

Now aside experience compare the players in both clubs and see how they are playing at the moment, i don’t think any of the players in Dortmund can breakthrough into the Real Madrid team at the moment which is another huge difference again

In a difficult season, Real Madrid still knows how to show courage to aim for the treble. After winning the Spanish Super Cup and taking the throne in La Liga, they set the goal of winning the Champions League for the 15th time in history. There is no need to doubt Ancelotti's ability, he has won various prestigious trophies with different clubs. His ability to formulate strategies can be seen from his success so far, Ancelotti was also able to beat Pep Guardiola strategy in the semifinals. Initially, many people doubted that Real Madrid would go further in the UCL after having difficulty finding an ideal replacement for Benzema, but Ancelotti was able to cover this gap with his tactics which gave Bellingham the freedom to explore areas that were not his natural position.
