Until matchday 3 of the Champions League, there were only two teams that had not scored any goals, namely Milan and Benfica. Even though these two teams performed very impressively last season, seeing their performance which had dropped significantly even during the group phase, many people certainly didn't expect this. Currently, Milan is in 4th position in Group F and has only collected 2 points from 2 draws, while Benfica is in 4th position in Group D without getting a single point after 3 matches which resulted in consecutive defeats for them.

Milan is still performing so badly. I dunno what's wrong with acmilan at this moment. I did aware how aggressive acmilan once it was facing newcastle in the first leg. The chance of milan to passs the group stage becomes even smaller as this club is placing at the bottom of standing.
It's not even qualified for the europa league this season too. Acmilan needs to do it even better than before. The coach pioli needs to do something to save his club from the disastrous result in this group this season.

I think both of their chances have almost certainly been lost and this will certainly be enough to make them both worse off if they are unable to qualify for the next phase. Maybe both Milan and Benfica have to be prepared for the results that will come and they have to keep trying so that at least they don't embarrass their fans.

It surprises me that how benfica declined a lot. These clubs have three matchdays remaining at this moment. Acmilan has a chance to be qualified for UCL as long as it will be winning the europa league only if the worst scenario will happen and make acmilan finish at the third place.
I don't really see serious preparations for those clubs. Im only seeing if acmilan and benfica lack of preparation to face a strong club in the UCL group this time.

Meanwhile, the other teams in the same group will also try to win in the remaining three matches, so Stefano Pioli needs to take extra steps for AC Milan if they still want to qualify for the next round of the Champions League.

Pioli has no chance other than winning all of the remaining games. It's caused by acmilan is now placing at the bottom. I see that if pioli may be sacked if he will be failed to bring this club into the next round.

It will be a disaster for pioli if milan will be out this early. AC Milan's current struggle to obtain three points from their opponents is a surprising turn of events, especially considering their previous top position in Serie A.

Dortmund and Newcastle are the two teams that seem poised to battle it out for the second place in the competition. Milan must surrender if the club will not even winning three points in upcoming game.

At this moment, Leao appears to be quite frustrated due to the abysmal performance of AC Milan. It's likely that if milan will be out from ucl soon.

We can't really take the performance of barcelona in UCL as a measurement of the club. I meant the competitors of barcelona in the UCL was weak teams. Barclona may get stolen by real madrid in the upcoming game. Madrid was not only coming with the different squad.
This club is also having everything to beat barcelona at this season started from a good attacking midfielder and striker at the same time. Some wingest that were coming back again after they was hibernated like vini due to the injury and many more.
I think that there's no reason to call that if barcelona will be dominating the current game. In fact, barcelona is slowly but surely was going through hard fixtures that will come soon.

If you look at Barcelona's performance in La Liga, I also doubt that Barcelona this season will be able to go far in the UCL, but currently in the group phase the Barcelona team is very lucky to be joined by a team whose quality is weaker than them so up to now there are no obstacles whatsoever for Barcelona. in the UCL match, later in the know out round it will probably be the real decider when Barcelona faces a stronger European team.
The Barcelona team under Xavi's guidance is slowly improving to become better, but when compared to the top European teams I think they are still very far behind, so it's natural that many people don't favor Barcelona in the UCL this season.

the group phase will probably be easy for Barcelona. but looking at the next phase which will bring together strong European teams, it will not be easy for Barcelona. If they meet Madrid or Man City in the last 16, it will be a loss for Barcelona. Facing a very strong team will be pressure for Xavi's team. we know the quality of Xavi's team play. they are not weak but often when facing a stronger team like Man City, Xavi cannot do anything because his strategy can be very easily known and dealt with by opponents.

European teams always do well in the group stage and European teams do well in the group stage to secure the next round but whenever they get past the group stage and enter the Super Sixteen, their performance gets mixed up. Barcelona is a good team in terms of performance, but if Barcelona's opponent in the next round is a team like Manchester City, Real Madrid or Bayan Munich, then it is very difficult for Barcelona to go to the next round by performing well against those teams. Barcelona will certainly hope that their opponents in the Super Sixty of the Champions League are not the likes of Manchester City or Real Madrid, as it is difficult for them to win from there and advance to the next round.  

Barcelona is one of the strongest teams in Europe but Manchester City or Real Madrid are more powerful than Barcelona and they have more chances to win.

Haaland is a scoring machine, and I expected him to score more goals in this game. They have been performing quite well in the Champions League and are the favourites to top their current group. Much more goals could have been expected against a team like Young Boys, but a 2:0 win is not a terrible result for a team that is leading the group.

Erling Haaland also scored again in this match after he had struggled to score in several matches. They mostly play defensive games when they know that they have little to make chances. Young boys were bonus to Manchester City, if you observed in the first 40 minute of the game, Manchester City were tackling them but there were stronger, the ball possession says everything about their performance but Manchester Cityater broke in and had a goal.

They knew Haaland was a threat, they counterweigh all he had on him, didn't allow him through but on the second half, Rodri was the man he was depending on and been an elderly state man of the team, he played his part and assisted him and that's how he had a goal but reg, overall Manchester City were above Young boys in performance and experience.

Since KDB was injured, it seems that Manchester City is not performing better in the domestic league, so they need someone who is right to replace KDB, at least providing mature passes for Haaland so he can score goals, because every time against a strong club, Haaland seems to have difficulty scoring goals, I think so too Guardiola should have placed another player on the front line to accompany Haaland.

I'm not too sure about "performing better" but they are good, the only person that has slack in his performance is Haaland, not that he is not good but comparing it to last season, he was ahead of this, he was clearly everywhere even in the media but ever since KDB went injury, that juicy assistance is not coming again. He is trying to survive here and also in the Premier League. This is why is good to be a playmaker and also a good taping, Haaland was never a play maker, it KDB and him that completed Manchester City team.

Whether we realize it or not, the fact that Man City is experiencing a slight decline cannot be separated from the departure of several players who made a big contribution to achieving last season's achievements, Gundogan, Mahrez, Joao Cancelo who was loaned to Barcelona, Laporte who moved to Al Nassr, and now Kevin de Bruyne who absent due to injury. This creates a slight imbalance for strikers, especially Haaland, because new players such as Doku, Gvardiol and Kovacic cannot cover the roles left by old players and are less active in supplying the ball to Haaland.

Benfica have been so bad so far and have never even tasted victory in the 3 matches they have played. I think maybe they are missing something that is causing this drop in performance? because it is very unnatural that Benfica is quite superior here but can't play optimally. When it's against Inter and they lose, I'll forgive that, but against Real Sociedad or Salzburg they also lose and that's unforgivable.

And it can be confirmed that with this situation or condition, Manchester City will definitely qualify for the group G stage, yes it is true and on the other hand Guardiola's squad is favored to become UCL or Premier League champions, as happened last season when they won the Trebble Winners achievement. Of the 4 clubs in group F, only Milan does not have the ability to show its ability to try to add points or at least be able to win the match several times, but unfortunately Milan does not have the ability to do all of that. Since the start of the Champions league match, they have not been able to get a win. only ended a draw.

Two points achievement in last three matches make Milan hasn't much choose for qualifying to the next round indeed have two home matches and one away match against Newcastle United. Bad started for Milan in Champion League without winning one match until playing three matches, next opponent is PSG and not sure for Milan will get three pounts or give opportunity for Dortmund or Newcastle United for qualifying to the next round.
Looking current standing teams, two points gap its not huge problem and Milan chance still open for qualidying to next round as 2nd standing position, but in three matches left they win two or three matches and looking for Dortmund and Newcastle have loss their points.

Barcelona is ahead of everything compared to the other three teams in Group H, they will clearly have fun and can dominate the standings easily. However, the relatively weak resistance from their opponents meant that Barcelona had to be more alert in the knockout round.
Barcelona must be able to improve its performance in preparation for facing stronger teams, the fewer teams remaining in the UCL, the greater the challenge they will face. Barcelona must be ready to welcome all the challenges in front of them if they are able to survive further in the UCL.

There's only but a slight chance to see them qualifying, they have to win against parisians if they must make it. They would be at home on the seventh day of November and If not in the right sense of mind the chance of qualification would be over.
I personally think they're screwed and can only achieve points that'll take them to Europe League Competition. Haven't those players been well rotated? They have been. They haven't just done enough.

One more win and it's sealed for Barcelona, they should get a lesser club for themselves when they go on to the knock out round.

Damnit! Lol. I just can't believe what I'm reading. Erling Haaland might not be scoring goals now but he is a very bright player. He is no small game player.  Erling Haaland is not a flop for God sake. De Brunye has been absent and Bernado Silva too but has still found ways to show up. Over the weekend during the Premier League is was outside the penalty box. He scored a fantastic goal. You have just watch him play.

 I don't get it, how do you even watch Manchester City when they play? Haaland is never a big game player and you know it, even the smaller teams he can't perform. He has lost that touch of scoring and this season has shown that he can't contribute more if the ball isn't given to him.
 He's just a player that doesn't struggle to get the ball and get that positioning just like Harry Kane does. And you would agree with me that he can't be compared to Harry Kane and if he's playing for Spurs nobody would hear his name believe me on that.
 You know with KDB on the mix Haaland has been outstanding in terms of performance but ever since KDB got that injury Erling Haaland performance drop drastically, in some game you hardly find him rather is Alvarez that's making things happen, I don't know how you want to see it but know this, Haaland is just a player that can't show or make any impact in any big game.

You don't know football to say he doesn't merit being nominated for the Ballon d'or. You must watch too much of volleyball game.

 He can be nominated but I assure you that he's not winning it, sometimes leave all these things you're saying because from how I see it is like you need to be glued to the TV SCREEN when you're watching any Manchester City game to know that Haaland isn't just over hyped, and if you're judging by performance don't even go to the world cup, and I believe if he had played longer in the world cup injury would have caught up with him that was why he was withdrawn.
 

He was signed up to score goals not to provide assist, at least Erling Haaland is being useful in his own side.
