My next Bitcoin awareness approach now are the children, there are many kids in my family and very soon our get-together tradition is approaching, I need your help in this forum if this is possible.

I remember when I was little, I love reading books that have good pictures on them, like comics and novels painted with amazing pictures, from Peter Pan to DareDevil and Supergirl, while growing up as an adult I ended giving out these comics to my cousins.

My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.

If I can recall vividly clear on board this platform someone made a post about a bitcoin cartoon on youtube video that was invented for kids and possibly adult would definitely like it too. I suggest you do a research on it and if you can, make it available for the kids to watch over and over again to gain proper knowledge about bitcoin that would be very much helpful I guess.

In your mentioned age the using comic book and made with bitcoins and don't no this because in some country the not make it as legal and not making legal country this books are not get easily and i know this and also this books EL Salvador or who having sincere approach country we seen and i encourage the your ideas because the child who have little ideas about in bitcoins and latter they so lot of involvements .

I completely agree with you, today, cartoons or videos is the best educational instrument. It was our generation that read book, current generation prefer gadgets and if we want to teach them something unusual, we must play on their rules.

No matter how interesting book is, a simple offer «lets go read a book» or «lets go I will read you a book» isnt accepted. While reading, kid will be «flying away, dreaming» and thinking what he would do first when he get his mobile or tablet.

That's right, it's better to let them have some idea first if he's gonna give him a book or comics strip that's related to bitcoin so that they'll at least have an idea on what they're reading before accepting the gift. And these video materials are for free and they'll easily understand it because it's in the form of a cartoon and video.

I think what @tabas shared is clear enough with the cartoon videos that are made and you can easily click and let your siblings watch easily on YouTube instead of comics having to buy first, but it depends on your decision whether it is in the form comics or other stories that are on the Internet.

Yeah, it's still up to him on what type of strategy he's going to make if he wants to educate these kids about Bitcoin. Giving them the idea would suffice so that they'll enjoy the gift that he's about to give.

Are you for real on this? Where is the fun in that? At what point would batman gets to hit Joker with a bat on his spine... That's something you can't get out of financial education.  Perhaps you can get some picture illustration of how bitcoin works but, I doubt there would be any fun about it and far from anything comic.

Still, it's not a bad idea creating this awareness but, yiuv3 got to 3nsure to keep them engaged in the campaign. I don't mean they ha to invest, of course they don't have the finance but, you have to ensure they don't forget all about it by refreshing there minds by some means.

If yiu can't find a book no where, you could as well create yours.

If they have at least knew how monetary system works, say USD on how it was made, its value, yes, you can go tell and teach them but i can't suggest comics books as i don't know one. If they don't have an idea even a bit, telling them first is much better.

First of all, make sure Bitcoin isn't something illegal in your country. What is the status of Bitcoin or crypto in your country? Is it legal? If it is illegal, you are better to think again about your plan to share Bitcoin comic books with children. Their parents shouldn't be happy if they know their children are reading something illegal. Anyway, you also need to talk with their parents first before you share Bitcoin or crypto comic books. If their parents don't like Bitcoin or crypto, you don't share any information about Bitcoin or crypto with their children.

But is 7 to 11 years old suitable to learn about bitcoin? Does teaching bitcoin at a young age ensure they love and are passionate about it as adults? There's been a lot of controversy about bitcoin education for kids lately, and I know that everyone has their own opinion. But for me, this age is still unsuitable for knowing about money, bitcoin, they have more to learn than focus on bitcoin and finance too early.

The purpose is just to let the children know about Bitcoin, they shouldn't learn Bitcoin. I think there is no problem if we let the children know the Bitcoin picture, its function, or very basic things about Bitcoin. Anyway, learning basic things about money for children isn't something bad, they must know it since they are kids. But surely we limit the topics, it should be a very basic thing only. It depends on how old these children are. I think I have got to understand, if not any where, but on the forum, that there is an advisable age that is required for children to learn a particular thing before they can comprehend it so well. For example, if those kids are under the age of 8, I don't think they are mature enough to comprehend the idea of Bitcoin. So, if you are teaching Bitcoin, maybe starting at the age of 10 is somehow good, but some people may not still find it funny at that time. After the last thread I created about teaching my 11-year-old nephew about Bitcoin, I realized that children still have a lot of time to learn. Learning Bitcoin doesn't take more than a year, so even if they start to learn at the age of 12, 13, and so on, it's much better.

Regarding your question, if you are going ahead with your plans, then I suggest you check out some cartoonized videos, get some pictures from there, and give them to someone who is good with Corel Draw and Photoshop to do some designs for you. Then you will just need to print and resize them, which will still be done in the printing shop.

The age group 7-11 is too early to be taught about bitcoin. The approach is really welcoming, but let them be distributed with the books and it is their interest whether to go through and raise questions to know more about it. It is the time period for them to have the enjoyment discussing about more stories beyond finance based learning.

Even at this age kids never think of money and we should not indulge the importance of money from the beginning, they need to understand that there is more things in life that are important than money.

It is NEVER to early to start teaching kids about money and finances.  As a financial advisor I recommend parents start teaching their children as soon as they are even able to comprehend basic financial concepts.  It's important to start kids off young with nearly anything, and finance is no exception!

But if you are really that interested, then maybe you can create on? You can go to freelance site such as Fiverr and then hire someone to make the Bitcoin comic books for you. Or if you have the experience, then you can create it, at least you can have total control on what is going to be put on the comic book and so with that you will know that the kids can relate and catch up on the idea of what bitcoin is.

I think for based on Bitcoin knowledge, we don't need too much technical to teach our child, because in theory, it's the same as basic payment. I don't know what your focus is, but when I tell my nephews about crypto technology, I always make it practice as they play like usual. I think it's not difficult because they hold gadgets every day, we just direct them to youtube videos, or any animation about crypto where we can search it easy on youtube animation video.

what is important now is, we can't prevent them to holding their gadgets daily, because on their era, the gadget is most important value than manuals or basic books. Because of that, I prevent them to tech on their gadget, and when they understood, we can easy to teach them how to send and receive payments with bitcoin on their gadget as usual they used.

It's much easier to learn if there are visuals and graphics that they can see while hearing what the discussion is all about. There are more of them so while you're still searching for those books or comics or any material that you plan to have, you can have a watch party with them through these videos and there's a lot more. That's only few from the many that's existing on these streaming websites.

I agree with this, these days now we are now modern, and most households now already have an internet connection and you can now easily access a lot of materials, especially cartoons which are famous for kids, which now is already available online via video or some e-books.
So for me, watching video cartoons about Bitcoin for kids is also best alternative.

it's a great idea if you are interested in giving a comic or story book bitcoin as a gift, but I think books or comics like that are very difficult to find, but I think you are better off looking for them on the internet or shopping online. but I think if you don't find a bitcoin comic book, you can replace it with something else, for example a t-shirt with the bitcoin logo or a key chain with the bitcoin logo on it.

Bitcoin is a difficult task to teach children as they will love to read a variety of picture books at such a young age. I don't know of any books that would benefit children in Bitcoin education. But if you want you can find out if there are any educational books about Bitcoin published for children on various social media. I came across a website that has a few books about Bitcoin for kids and beginners. If you can give your future generation children an idea about Bitcoin, by reading Bitcoin Miner book, surely they will grow up to be very skilled. But the education you give children will grow up in the education you must try to teach them moral good. Only then children will acquire knowledge skills about Bitcoin and have good thinking.

Assuming those videos exist then they will be a great introduction for the youngest generation to the bitcoin ecosystem, however before showing those videos to those kids I think it would be better if some videos showing how the economy works could be even more important.

As this will give context to the bitcoin videos and show them why we need it on the first place, after all kids may not understand why something like bitcoin is needed until they understand more clearly how the economy used to work on the past and how it works now.

They are young mate , let them have their childhood  and if you truly wanted them to learn and have Idea about bitcoin ? then youtube is the place and yes it has been posted above .

Also there are some netflix docu that you can let them watch but of course advise the parents to have a look with them.

I believed you are not a newbie and there a thread in the forum concerning the YouTube video about bitcoin and the title of the comic movie is Bitcoin and the Beast. So you can just type the name and see the full movie. Which can be play in the evidence and children like watching movies than books.

Actually, the OP is not looking for where to download some cartoons or animated videos about bitcoin for children but he/she is asking for recommendations or guide on how to get comic books about bitcoin for his/her kids.  

I don't know is there any comic books are made with bitcoins for the age you mentioned. Because I know Bitcoin is still not legalized in most countries and such books are not easily available in countries where it is not legalized. However, these books can be found in El Salvador or countries that have a positive attitude towards Bitcoin. But appreciate your ideas.

There are bitcoin comic books for children on the internet that one can purchase. It can be gotten from Amazon and other good online bookshops, and shipped to any location. I also understand the issue of ban of cryptocurrency in some countries which could hinder the sales of such books.

To make kids get interested in Bitcoin comic book, it has to be released for a decent period of time. The comic book need to have an endless plot, however, the comics that I have found in the internet are either one pager, or a short comic book with ended plot. The kid will read it and forget about it.

Bitcoin comic book needs a large publisher, long plot. If it is possible to find a publisher (they will find the creator themselves, if the comic book would bring them money), then making a long plot is a problem imho. There is not much to write for kids about Bitcoin. It will either turn comic book into mystery, or into detective series, forgetting about the idea of cryptocurrency.

I am not sure that every comic book was made just for fun. Comic books are meant to raise and sometimes give certain answers to questions that concern society. Batman doesn't just beat the Joker, a reader needs to understand the reasons for this, and they are not funny at all. If you look at comic books as an actualization of public interest, as a way to make children think, to teach them something, then I don't see any problem with the existence of a comic about Bitcoin. After all, it can interest the child if the material is presented correctly and it is explained how he may need it in the future. Financial information can be presented in various forms, and in interesting ones too, and it does not have to be boring and dry. For example, there is a Gamecast flow based on Kiyosaki's ideas, many children and adults used it to learn about finances, not the books themselves. Therefore, you should not immediately bury the idea with comic books about Bitcoin.

Your idea is very creative to introduce bitcoin to children. Children really like to read comics. That makes them get to know bitcoin from an early age. But bitcoin comics are perhaps a bit rare now. but you can make sure through online shopping or you can ask the bookstore or comic shop in your area in advance.
