Hello everyone, i just want to share my thought here as a newbie, i bought my first bitcoin two weeks back, after spending the first month studying and reading everything as relate to Bitcoin, the time spent on learning and gathering knowledge have started to pay off for me during this period were the price of bitcoin have nosedive greatly.

First before i bought my first bitcoin, i first of all build a good understand of the market and how bitcoin volatility works, and also learned about the effect of external forces in determining the price of Bitcoin  such as exchange crisis and other governmental policies that can have short time effect on bitcoin.
Secondly i have learned never to panic during any crisis time or when the bitcoin price drop significantly because in the near future it will increase in value again, and also to hold an amount i can afford to look away from for a long time.
This and many more is the reason behind my current confidence in Bitcoin's ability never to let me lose if I hold for a long time.
Indeed knowledge is power, because knowledge can save you when money failed, because knowledge failure is a lifetime problem but money failure in terms of investment is temporally and if I wait I will soon be in profit again very soon, that is what past records have shown and proven.

It is good that you have a good understanding before putting your money into BTC, not everyone have the time and patience to do that, and they end up running away at the slight challenge. But for you though, the market will test your patience and see how really resilient you are.

now what happens, more people don't understand the events of the Binance and SEC dispute, and many misunderstand and speculate as if Binance has been banned worldwide. this has a direct effect on crypto prices and see now the price crash and even altcoins are even worse

Even though what happened was Binance US which had an impact while for Binance globally it was still safe, that is the reason why panic can cause chaos in the market, so what happened today crypto was hit and made prices go down again.

Binance Global was not affected and since the SEC disrupted binance a lot of FUD has spread wildly and uncontrollably so that Binance's credibility has decreased slightly. Is this a manipulation by whales to make Bitcoin prices cheaper ahead of the Halving?

But looking at history May and June are bearish months and it's happening again right now.

Indeed knowledge  is poor and I think that no matter how knowledgeable you about bitcoin,  without a good and proper risk management knowledge,  I'm sorry to say but it will be very difficult to make any reasonable profit without so much effort.
What I'm  trying to say is that, you shoukd always have a good rusk management  knowledge  of the market and know how best to apply it.
I also want to let you know that the best way to enjoy bitcoin  is hodling and the best way to e joy holding is buying the dip so that when the bear market comes, one would be in good profits and you'll  agree with me that no matter how knowledgeable one is about bitcoin, without money to buy and put those knowledge to practice is absolutely  waste of knowledge as such a person will definitely  miss out and in conclusion just have spare money to buy the dip whenever the need arises.

For now even though I am in this kind of environment it can be said that I am just stepping in and cannot be compared to some who have been in bitcoin for a very long time but in this case what I see is that as you said, waiting is the most reasonable thing for now. I felt bitcoin for ATH even 2 times there and I also felt bitcoin crash and until now I feel that and I can say for my previous few years of portopolio it seems that it still hasn't returned. But being grateful is something that still has to be done so that I can buy bitcoin even from the price of $15k which I never got before and of course it's a blessing.
There is nothing stopping me now from continuing to be in bitcoin and indeed this is something that I am waiting for by continuing to survive I will be sure of my choice for the next few years it will get better.
