Actually Eddie didn't found anything KICK related. Even wikipedia is wrong about that issue. He/they just bought it and now claim they reinvented streaming.

I mean, I didn't really say they or Eddie founded kick.com, all I said was they launched it since that's what was said on the youtube video I watched. I didn't bother digging more into it since I didn't really find the news about kick.com's launch that important.

But anyway, more and more streamers go to Kick now, because of freedom of speech and the fair payment.
They are paying huge amounts to some famous streams atm, it's actually insane!

Well, technically, watching any kind of stream or videos or surfing the internet or social networks is a total waste of time but still millions of people do that, why? Because everyone has to spend some free time doing things that relaxes them or make them have a good time for at least an hour or something, that is important for one's mental health as one cannot work or study for the whole day without having any free time at all.

I understand that there are also millions of people who are absolutely free and watching these streams and videos because they have nothing else to do, but that's a different story, I personally only watch streams or videos when I feel tired and when I'm resting for a while.

I have to agree, the priorities change since the development speed of the technology goes up geometrically. The restrictions brought up by Twitch moderation will have serious consequences such as popular streamers will flip over to alternative platforms such as XQC. Everything changes, we call it life I don`t remember how it was, but one moment i stopped playing games. I have several on my PC, most of them i downloaded when upgraded PC to test how is it now. But i`ve even start less than half of them.

Well, time does change, and so are our priorities in life as you said. We might be gamers and love playing games, and when someone loves games, they also love watching others play on streams and videos and stuff, we do that all the time until we get married and have a family to take care of, that is when a full stop is added to your activities that you used to have before because you don't get enough time for yourself and your activities that you once loved.

That's how life is, it gets difficult at times but it also gives you pleasures sometimes, it's a total rollercoaster that never stops and you keep going up and down and sideways sometimes, even if you want it to stop sometimes, but the control is not really in your hand so you have no option to stop it.
