2024 makes it another four years which the bitcoin halving happens. You already know what the halving is about. For newbies, the Bitcoin Halving is when Bitcoin's mining reward is split in half. And in the next 14days specifically, April 19th the halving will happen. Why the halving is so important to us is that with the reduction in the number of bitcoin in supply, there will be a price increase because there will be increase in the demand of bitcoin. This is what has always happened - halving preceded bull runs. Although, past performance may not guarantee future results, what we can tell from the moves of individual investors and institutional investors is that they are positioning themselves for potentially higher prices post-halving. I am not excluded.

If you have been holding bitcoin since say 2016, you will know that there is a bull run that follows after the halving and that it is a great opportunity to take profit and make a major purchase like getting something really nice for yourself. A reward for your patience. One area where some bitcoiners who take profit may spend their newfound wealth is in getting behind the wheel of their dream car.

Aside the nice watches, travels and vacation, nice condos, I know that the bitcoiners love automobiles a lot and they will flaunt it at the slightest opportunity. You have just said it all and absolutely the above acquired based on the ascribe automobiles and the other expenditures actually has nothing to do with the halving.
As much as I know, the only risk involved in halving is the traumatic ness of beginners who has made sufficient profits with their Bitcoin holding.
Lot of beginners may not have that ideology to sell off their assets before the halving and gets set to keep reaccumulating during the halving on the DCA method so they could secure more values of their Bitcoin assets before the bull-run is activated just as some other experienced investors may act.

I feel they would be traumatized later finding their appreciated holding has decreased and with the tunes of fear not to have more lost counts, they may sell definitely at the wrong time which could had been better that they just hold their patients and trust the market that they will revive more better when the market volume changes by the bull-run.
The rewards of this halving may only be insighted as an opportunity for more investors to come on board and also giving the opportunities for Investors to accumulate more to their assets.

I agree with BlackHatCoiner and Upgrade00: for security reasons, I don't share that need to attract attention to myself and my love for Bitcoin. If I were rich I don't know, maybe I wouldn't care to be known for that, but with just a few hodlings under my belt (and the same in the van's owner's case), it is much better to go unnoticed.

If you want to contribute to the community by doing some marketing, there are tons of ways to do that other than exposing how rich you are. Contributing by supporting the development of Bitcoin Core by donation for example is more meaningful than this, or if you want to attract retails you can just buy ads or run a website for education purposes. I guess that's just too much for some people, so they opt to show off since it is easier.

Personally, having another intelligent writer who can educate people through their books or social media is better. You can gain some following, yet at the same time can be low-key. You can even do this by being anonymous/pseudonymous, as long as you're careful and don't use anything related to your personal info with your new account. CMIIW.

Being talkative about investment in Bitcoin is not good for a person's safety.

Attackers don't even need to know you are a millionaire or billionaire, they will keep their eyes on you if they know you invest in Bitcoin and have bitcoins. Attacks can cause some minor physical damages on your body but worse, you will be killed. There are some reports on death by physical attacks already.

Tax is another problem. I saw many young people who shown their richness from luxurious items and even show their balances. It's nothing more than stupid.

I don't find that approach to be practical, to be honest. If you are already rich, have a lot of money, and have invested in Bitcoin to get more wealth, it's understandable, but if you are struggling in your life, made some investment in Bitcoin, and got some money in the bull run, you shouldn't be buying materialistic goods for your happiness but do something for your future first. All of us love a lot of things, but we can't neglect our future just to get something that we have always wanted to have because that's not the right way to do things.

Mining rewards have two parts.

Block subsidy or block reward.
Transaction fee.

Only block subsidy will be halved.
Transaction fee will not be affected by halving and it can increase or decrease after the halving depends on demands from Bitcoin users.

What is a block halving event?

As part of Bitcoin's coin issuance, miners are rewarded a certain amount of bitcoins whenever a block is produced (approximately every 10 minutes). When Bitcoin first started, 50 Bitcoins per block were given as a reward to miners. After every 210,000 blocks are mined (approximately every 4 years), the block reward halves and will keep on halving until the block reward per block becomes 0 (approximately by year 2140). It will even be better if the person who in scripts bitcoin logo in their car plate number lives in an environment where cryptocurrency and bitcoin is understand to some certain extent. In my country, you cannot get letters, but rather an RTA special number plate, where the value of certain numbers is a few thousand dollars, so the matter may not be valid for all countries in the world.

I don't know how OP managed to get these pictures but if there are people doing this around the world they don't know what they are doing.

They are simply exposing themselves to greater risk because everyone around them will know that they are rich right away, and the bad ones will believe that if they can kidnap their family they will make money.

I know that some countries are more secured than others, they can't try this in a new country, they will learn straight away why this is a very bad idea.
