I am so surprised Chelsea can't handle Atalanta, they are the most favorite to get 3 points on Champions League when we compare with The city which surprisingly defeated Madrid, while Newcastle, even have expected difficult, and was prediction lost, they are able to get 1 points last night. So, I still optimistically think those premier league club will advance to the next round. Premier league have 6 clubs, and they are on safe position standing on champions league. Yeah, maybe will reduce half until the 8th rounds tournament next.

Their manager selections cost them games Chelsea should be winning. This is not the first time and will not be that last. He is obviously using his hands to dig his own grave. He sits on the top four after 15 Premier League games. I believe it is the reason why the management are not after his job. Everton are gradually accumulating points, I just hope he can go back there and do his thing. What was a bit surprising was that Chelsea, facing a much easier opponent lost, a defeat they could have avoided if they had played at the same level as they have played against other strong teams.

Atalanta might not exactly be considered a much easier opponent, especially with them playing at their home stadium. Chelsea have continued to have a consistency issue about the team and with Atalanta haven’t sacked their coach for a new manager, it’s not uncommon for players to give their very best in fighting for a spot on the team. Times like this, just any team could prove fierce as is the case with Atalanta that had endured a bad run and bad form for a good couple of weeks.

It was just too shameful that, Chelsea had to take the lead, only to loose it so easily to Atalanta.

On the contrary, Manchester City victory was not surprising at all because it was very clear that Real Madrid condition was unstable. Meanwhile Chelsea came with a bigger chance, but instead lost to a team whose performance this season in the Domestic League was very bad, occupying the middle position of the standings. In performance Chelsea should be able to excel but Atalanta goalkeeping defense made it difficult for the Blues to score a second goal.  

Real Madrid internal issues and their last few results clearly reflecting their performance just because of this result was not surprising, both teams are on level and also have good players, those can bring good performance and this is always important for winning in any game.

Chelsea is still immature club, they are performing time to time as their consistency and defense is always questionable, they needed to be having improvement because they can face troubles if they fail to keep improving and also not having good defense. You're too critical of Maresca though, he's doing his best, but always placing the blame on the coach is easy for everyone.
I'm not a Chelsea fan, but I see that Maresca still adopts a method that can be criticized, but it's evidence he's doing, he hasn't found the right fit to make the team perform at its best.
In his place I personally wouldn't know what and how to do it, so I can't comment, in any case between ups and downs he is still leading the team, that's a fact.

I agree with that but regardless Maresca has proven that he can make Chelsea better, Even from the beginning of Maresca becoming Chelsea's coach, we can see quite a lot of visible progress. So if there are some shortcomings, I think we don't need to criticize excessively because everything requires a process, and I am confident that Maresca will continue to make positive progress with Chelsea because it's impossible for a coach to make a team perfect without any weaknesses in a short time.

All these analysis you have given do not work like that always. We have seen multiple times where big teams are losing matches to small team because most of these small teams are overlooked due to the belief that they will not have the skill to compete with big teams. Take your bet and let's see how the outcome will look like.

I think this happened a lot of times when the weak teams snatched the success from the strong teams. Because in such matters I think Luck plays his important role as this is the main and the prominent factor of our lives. But sometimes your hard work really works and your strong opponent gets defeated due to their confidence of being strong and being better than the opponent. And I think this success of Manchester United will also boost their confidence a lot. And they will take it as a great motivation to move forward. I think everyone needs this type of confidence and a turn that makes your hope into a belief and gives you the confidence that you had a power by which you can embrace your dreams and score a good position in the points table. Surprising that Chelsea was beaten in Bergamo? It seems like many if you are overrating this Chelsea side under Enzo Maresca. Before the game, I saw a 50-50 chances of winning the game by both teams and that's because the London club have been inconsistent especially when facing teams they're backed to win on papers and the fact that Atalanta was playing at home in their own stadium.
Chelsea have in some occasions in the last six months shown that they've got all it takes to become one of the dominating teams in Europe but how they've not been able to maintain those big performances is the main reason they're still struggling. Even if Atalanta was at home, i was expecting Chelsea to go to Italy and beat Atalanta, but Chelsea surprised me with the way they performed against Atlanta. Premier league clubs are still doing very well in the champions league, and if they maintain their performance, they will advance to the next round of champions league. We are supposed to have 5 premier league clubs in the champions league, but since Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa league, it gave premier league an extra slot in the champions league, and that's why we have 6 premier league clubs in the champions league.

A win is a win, even if Real Madrid themselves didn't perform optimally in that match. In fact, I saw Manchester City as much better prepared than Real Madrid in that match. There's no such thing as a free 3 points in the Premier League. Every game is tough, even if your opponent hasn't won a single game, you could be their first victim. Arsenal must be careful. They used up their margin for error last week. They can't afford to drop points 2 weeks in a row. We know that if Manchester City gains momentum, they become unstoppable. Arsenal must stay in the lead. They shouldn't underestimate Wolves just because they seem like an easy opponent.

Guardiola was very tactical against Madrid. And they won because of descent match strategy. Guardiola well understood the weakness of Real Madrid's defense. At the same time,  it was easier for guardiola to resist Madrid without Mbappe in the squad. City secured a 2-1 win in the end.
As for Chelsea, you are right that, losing to a team like atlanta, especially when they are  not having a strong season , can be disappointing. Maresca might need to reassess tactics and team morale  quickly to avoid further issue.

First I don’t understand why you said Everton have been good against top opposition because looking at the current  games they played the Everton team has been not so good. In fact against the traditional English top six teams the ones they have played against they have lost those matches except Manchester United who threw a way all three points to the 10 men. Also clubs like Aston Villa and Newcastle United have actually took points off their hands so against this top teams they haven’t been superb.

But one thing about this Everton side is the ability to maximize points against teams of their level or clubs haven’t difficulty. I would actually be going for Chelsea win but not going to fully rule Everton hurting them because offensively Chelsea seems to be weak

Everton is always giant killer, they are having amazing depth and also their performance is always surprising on their day, they can beat any team here in this game. Chelsea is entering with 4 matches without win and their current depth is also not good, but they have home advantage, this can give them good chance.

In last five games between these two teams, Chelsea won just 2 games because Everton is always having good performance against them, game on 13th December is going to be important for Chelsea, because if they fail then surely they are going to face consequences and their season is also going to be having big setback. I wasn't really surprised concerning Real Madrid's lose, cause the club haven't been very strong defensively lately and according to the Line-up Alonso used, I had this doubt that City might win and I didn't even bother selecting the game in my ticket cause I wasn't sure Real Madrid could win.

Well, I will say you got it right, as someone that has followed football for awhile, when league reach this level especially in the English premier League, every team becomes a tiger, underestimate any team to your own detriment, any team can face defeat from which ever team, I does not matter how such team has been since the league competition started, wolves use to be a very strong side, they have not be this poor in performance for a long time, but unexpectedly they became poor this season but that does not mean that they can not do anything, for now the fight for the league title is seriously ongoing, arsenal should make sure they play with everything in them unless they are no longer ready to get the title.

Judging from Wolves form this season, it will be okay to say Arsenal will win this match, but this is football and it's also the premiership we're every games comes with its own challenges. Arsenal should not underestimate their opponent even as the odds favor them to win the game. I think they should approach the match with more seriousness and try to win the game.
Talking of Manchester City taking over Arsenal,  I don't see that happening,  because I still believe that Arsenal will win the premier league this season.
