Brighton drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at home. Despite falling behind in the 13th minute with a penalty goal, the home team equalized with about 5 minutes left in the first half and managed to take the lead in the last minutes. Brighton couldn't maintain their 2-1 lead in the first half and conceded the second goal in the 70th minute. I think it was an important 2 points lost for Brighton who had more possession and created more chances than their opponent.

Brighton walked away with 1 point, and they dropped 2 points. Their defense was so sloppy defending in the late game. They were also showing how they struggled against Nottingham's low-block strategy. They have no one with the skill set to break down their opponent's deep defence.

They fought back well in the first half after a poor 40 minutes. They scored their two goals after escaping their poor play. Their poor defence at the second half let their opponent equalize the score.

Although they got a draw against Nottingham, they still keep their unbeaten record. Their defense needs to improve to beat Chelsea in their next game at Stamford Bridge.

I think the draw achieved by Brighton is already a good result rather than having to suffer a defeat because Nothingham Forest's recent performance is worth watching out for, this club was able to beat Liverpool at Anfield and that was a surprise so it could be that it's not Brighton's defense that is bad, it's just that their opponent's performance is trying to put pressure on the hosts so that they have difficulty balancing their game.

Although they got a draw against Nottingham, they still keep their unbeaten record. Their defense needs to improve to beat Chelsea in their next game at Stamford Bridge.

I think that is a challenge for Brighton next because Chelsea is not a weak club like last season, they have won a lot recently and in their last match they beat West Ham with a landslide score without reply so Brighton must play a defensive strategy so that Chelsea players have difficulty breaking into their goal.

City - Arsenal match ended 2-2, but Arsenal would have won the match very easily if Arsenal had not been down to 10 men.
While the match was 1-2, Trossard received a red card for the second yellow card in the extra time of the first half and Arsenal were down to 10 men. In the second half, City attacked the Arsenal goal for a goal, but Stones scored the goal they were looking for at 90+8. Extra time worked very well for City today. With this draw, City increased its points to 13 and continued its leadership.

Very easily you say? I doubt if it would have been an easy win for Arsenal without a red card. Manchester City had more goal attempts in the first half which means they were more in control of the game until Arsenal equalized and added a second goal and even at that City were still in control. The red card was at the end of the first half so it affected the performance of Arsenal players and they have to try and defend their lead which gave Manchester City more confidence to keep attacking until they succeeded in scoring an equalizer and shared the points at Etihad Stadium. It is so unfortunate that Arsenal had to suffer like this and still concede at stoppage time.

Manchester City fought hard enough to win this match but they did not succeed instead they managed to draw the match due to Arsenal's strong attack. When Arsenal took the lead in the first half, it was Arsenal's strong attack that allowed Man City to score. However, the Arsenal player was red carded towards the end of half-time and the team was left in a bit of a rut, as a result of which they did not defend well afterwards. If Manchester City hadn't scored late on they would have lost the match but Arsenal's red card saw them attack more powerfully and Manchester City equalized at the last minute.

The two drama-filled games above ended in a 2-2 draw today. Brighton who were leading 2-1 against Nottingham eventually failed to secure 3 points at home. Ramón Sosa forced Brighton to share the points in the 70th minute with his goal - while Manchester City also drew. As can be seen in the picture above - it was truly the two best games of the week.

I'm not really happy with the draw between Manchester City and Arsenal - but it's a shame, Manchester City are so hard to beat. Even with a few minutes left - Arsenal failed to score the second and final goal from Manchester City in this match. Arsenal were forced to settle for a draw after leading in the first half until a few minutes before the end of the match - clearly a mistake they should avoid when leading.

Manchester City are not so hard to beat, we saw that yesterday against Arsenal, when you pay attention to their players age, they're all getting worned out and old. A good side with good energy and counter attacking system can hurt them badly. Michael Oliver spoiled that game, the whole world saw what he did. Officials in the Premier League Competition are goddamn biased.
Nuno Espirito Santos is one manager that did well during the pre-season games and he's yet to lose a game in the Premier League Competition. Next week would be against Fulham United, all I see is Nothingham Forest winning that game.

People who watch football without bias these days will tell you that,  Arsenal should have won this game but tue officials for this game single handedly supported a side yesterday.  Its now very plain that Mikel Arteta has grown to be one of the best managers in the Premier League Competition and I would love to finally see him win the trophy.
Arsenal are not always parking the bus but they had to do thi gs that way so they could either win tat game or share the spoils.  I'm not gunner but I say that they was the better side who should have won that game. The rivalry between them have been interesting and at tue same time fierce. VAR and match officials should do better in the Premier League Competition.

After the match was over, I immediately opened my X social media and saw michael oliver, arsenal, Raya, guardiola becoming a trending topic based on what happened in the match, based on media X, I saw that many people actually thought that the match was damaged after the red card was issued by michael oliver in the match, many speculated that the red card should not have been issued by the referee, but if it was  the red card was deserved because Trosaard kick the ball to slow down the game, of course Doku who also did the same thing also deserved to be given a red card in the match, but regardless of the reason and form of injustice that occurred in the match, of course many parties claimed that in terms of game and also performance, Arsenal won the match even though they played with 10 players than manchester city,  Even after the game, Guardiola also admitted that Arsenal tactics of play were natural and he would also do the same if Manchester City were ahead but played with 10 players in a match.

That is Arteta's ingenuity in anticipating attacks from Man City which are very dominant in making attacks and we also know the closeness of these two coaches who used to work together, so it is not surprising that the tactics given by Pep to his squad were read by Arteta in Man City's game scheme with this draw. In my opinion, Arsenal deserves appreciation in holding Man City to a draw as the host, it is not easy for Arsenal but at least Arsenal did not suffer defeat even though they have to be in 4th position at this time, for the next match Arsenal will host Bolton and Leicester a very busy schedule for Arsenal at least Arsenal can win in the next two matches, in order to smooth Arsenal in the top standings at least back to second position or the top of the Premier League standings.

The Arsenal vs. Man City game was, of course, nervy. The Trossard red card did change the dynamics of the game. Arsenal actually did play rather well; even with 10 men, they put up a decent fight. Perhaps if the red card incident had not occurred, Arsenal would have taken all 3 points home. But what is obvious from this season is that Arsenal are much improved in performance and mentality and will be a real threat to Man City. It only makes the race for the title more interesting.

There was some exceptional intelligence from Arteta in reading Man City's game, especially with his background in his relationship with Pep Guardiola. It's not an easy task to hold a team as strong as Man City to a draw, and Arsenal should be appreciated for that effort. They're currently in 4th place; however, the next two matches against Bolton and Leicester could provide an ideal opportunity for Arsenal to collect full points and return to the top of the standings.

Just like you, many people including me were of the opinion that Arsenal are going to be thrashed in the second half of their game against Manchester City yesterday because of the red card Trossard was shown in the dying minutes of the first half but surprisingly, the Gunners held on and were less than 10 seconds away from claiming all three points from that game.
Arsenal's performance of yesterday I believe is a clear indication that they have improved from what we saw from them last season and that I think will give them an improved mentality of fighting for the league title this season.

So the point is, Manchester City almost lost because after all, the extra time was also quite long in the match, around 7 minutes, and Manchester City could just score a second goal or an equalizer at that time. But in reality, there are still many who mock Arsenal for only playing with full defense, they should have realized that Arsenal only played with 10 players, so it is natural for Arsenal to maintain a score of 1-2 even though they still conceded in the end.

Liverpool did a good work with their last game you know. Other than that shocking loss against Nottingham, they are just doing good.    They are still the team with the most solid defense. Only 1 goal conceded after 5 weeks. That's impressive! So far they have been really good in big games they played too. First a 3-0 win over Manchester United and later a 3-1 win against Milan.

I can't wait to watch them against Arsenal and Manchester City.

Although the up coming Arsenal match with Manchester City will be a tough for both teams, yeah indeed their match will little tough, because both of the teams are strong and there doing well this this season which everyone will like to claim their experts during the match; but started that arsenal are also try their not only try arsenal is also performing well this season because they don’t want repeat what has been happening for them in previous seasons.

Having expectations on a draw between Arsenal and the Manchester City I think is wrong prediction, even though both teams are strong that doesn’t guarantee to predict draw against them, I know arsenal will try to make everything possible by dominating their next coming match sure.

I understand that Barcelona not winning, well, actually losing, and Arsenal not winning might not be a big surprise for a lot of people. However, it was definitely a little unexpected, at least for me. Especially the loss of Barcelona. It is acceptable the draw of Arsenal against Atalanta. Atalanta is actually a better team than a lot of people think of them to be. But Barcelona losing is surprising.

The reason Barcelona lost is because of the red card in the 10th minute. But the bottom line is that Barcelona lost. I think Eric Garcia took a chance to see if he could get away with a yellow card but obviously, he couldn't. I will say that the red card was not worth it. If he was in the middle he could contribute later. But I guess I would have said the opposite if his red card could prevent the loss of Barcelona. Everything is very situational. He took a chance and it didn't work out in favor of him or Barcelona.

Arsenal really focused on defense in the second half and their strategy almost succeeded in beating Manchester City, but in the end Arsenal could not stem Manchester City's desire not to lose. Jhon Stones managed to score a goal, which kept Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings.

One thing that can be praised about Arsenal's performance is that they have had a strong defense so far. Even though Arsenal played with 10 players from the second half, they really made it difficult for Manchester City to penetrate their defense. Raya is the best goalkeeper in my opinion, so I think we know why Arteta relies on him.

City definitely shocked the world, it wasn't a game that we expected from them and they were seen as favourites for this game, and a ten man Arsenal army almost ended up getting a win if it wasn't for that last minute goal.

I rewatched the replay and I see that Haaland literally threw the ball to Arsenal player for trolling lol, that dude is so funny sometimes but if I was an Arsenal fan I would have been pretty mad, the disrespect is real, and on a game that they barely even won. It's clear that we are going to see Arsenal play quite good this season, they figured out their scoring troubles and I believe that their offense looks quite good, they didn't had any trouble scoring and that is something they desperately needed. Their defense is already good and I think it is going to be fine to see them play like this for a while longer, it won't be an issue and they may get some good wins. Premier league title run will be fun once again without a doubt.
