I think the gambling age should be raised even higher because we realize later that the decisions we make at an early age affect us in our future life. There isn't much difference between the ages of 18 and 21, the real point to note is that children below the age of 18 are also found guilty of gambling. How is it possible that kids aged 16 or below are accessing gambling sites, having the money to gamble and also bypassing the KYC requirements?

Restrict or not but still there's no way that you could really be able to stop your kids on seeing gambling and even if you do restrict them then their curiosity will really be pushing them to check out
on whats gambling. So it would really be that better that you should really be teaching them about on whats gambling and what are the risks that imposed into it. If you wont really be that

Adolescents still need guidance from their parents so they don't go down the wrong path, but in reality, there are still many children who go down the wrong path due to a lack of supervision and guidance from their parents. Many teenagers see violence in their households, which makes them run away from home and choose to stay at a friend's house. Even people who are old enough still behave in a childish manner when gambling and are not able to control their gambling activities well, let alone underage children. Apart from their inadequate capacity and not being able to make mature decisions, financially they still depend on their parents. And what I fear is when they fall into a gambling addiction while financially they are unable to fulfill their desire to gamble. Even though this is only film I am sure that films like this are usually taken from true stories and aim to raise awareness among the public that gambling can never produce truly clean profits.

Parents do play a vitale role, but it is also your other social ties and what kind of activities they pursue. I know a lot of guys who got into poker just because their friends got into poker and it became a normal thing to play the game at parties or barbecues.
