Why can't I upload an avatar on my profile

 Hello guys, my question may seem silly but I have to ask this as I've tried all I could  to upload an avatar on my profile but to no avail and I don't know whats wrong or if anyone is experiencing this same issue or are there some restrictions on my account?

I will appreciate  if you guys just help clear me on this without much criticism please.

It's a common lesson if you look around your besides. Have you seen anyone in this forum who is Jr member or Member rank wearing an Avatar? So you must to be a Full Member or above to upload avatar on your profile. To be a Full Member you must have 100 Merits with 120 Activities.
I can see you are now a Jr member and grow yourself and be a Full Member to wear Avatar and colourful Signature code.

You're still a Jr member rank can you please tell us more reasons to why you wanted to upload an avatar?

Before you can upload an Avatar you will have to be in full member rank on the forum, also I don't think as at present there's a signature campaign that accepts Jr member rank as participants, most of them begins with member rank and still yet, you can only update the signature codes for member rank and not together with an avatar until you're a full member.

OP, protocols are necessary in every platform, organizations and where ever one finds him or her self. So therefore I believe it is applicable here that one must grow above the rank of a junior member before one is deemed fit to upload avatar. So in that case, you would have to rank up to a full member before you can be able to use an avatar for your profile.

Nevertheless, there is no restrictions to one putting avatar unless otherwise and if it comes to wearing signature code, the restriction is that the account is banned from activities here on ground of fluanting the forum policies and regulations.

There is no room for criticism.
As others have said, you need to be at least a full member before you can wear an avatar.

I understand the reason for your question, but, to be frank you would have gotten that answer to your question if you had used the search option.

As for the Avatar assuming you were here in the early days of bitcointalk you would have been able to wear avatar even with a newbie rank just like this profile. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=72990
But after sometime some restrictions were added and made the minimum requirement for avatar a full member rank. So if you want to have an Avatar on your profile you'll have to work hard and achieve at least a full member rank.

There is nothing wrong with you and also no one is criticizing you about this question you asked. I think a forum staff member has also provided a fairly precise answer to your question, even though it's short, but easy enough for you to understand. Now your job is just to try and be patient to upgrade your account according to the conditions that apply to everyone so that you can use the avatar you want on your own profile and at least you have to be a Full Member, not a Junior Member or Member mate.

Your concern is genuine however you should know that you need atleast Full Member rank on the forum to upload and use your own avatar.
Currently, your role is Junior Member, you gotta become a Member first and then Full Member. May take you some time, so move around the forum and enjoy your stay
