When will you sell...next bull run?

2. I have no idea. As long as I am able to profit and I want to take it, there's no definite time and price when. Because with what I do, sometimes I sell even if there's no bull run and it's just like the normal days. For those that are likely to experience this upcoming bull run as their first, avoid being greedy and when you're happy to take profits and wanting to sell, just do it but save some so you can buy back.

But taking profits now is too soon, I will not make this decision before the price passes $68k. After that I may sell some gradually but I want to sell at the peak but I'm sure it will be difficult unless you hold on to the next cycle.

For example, if the next peak point of ATH is $100k then I will sell at that price but we will never know the situation at that time whether I will be strong enough to hold at 70k/90k sometimes at that price it feels like selling because the profit is already 3x our purchase.

I just don't want to expect a lot but at least that's possible since we've hit $60kish last bull run and for sure it's going to be passed when the bull run comes. If ever it won't happen on the upcoming bull run then the chances are going to be higher the next one. We've got the same style of selling, we don't want to sell all of it but we're going to observe what shall happen after selling gradually. It's hard to sell when you don't have that much and that's my case and that's the reason why I need to be wiser when I'm about to sell at the prices that I am satisfied and considered to be the next peak.

Selling your investment assets when your target has been reached is part of the investment plan. Of course I plan for that too, but only if I actually get the return on the target I've set. I can expect high returns for bitcoin, especially since I believe the price could be higher than the previous ATH.

I don't want to seem greedy about targets, but I can only be sure of one thing that halvings can bring holders huge returns in 18 - 24 months after halving. It's a possibility, but it's also a habit that has happened every halving.

I'm sure one day Bitcoin will reach its newest ATH, maybe it will reach $100k but I don't have to wait for that price for me to sell my Bitcin, right now I think before investing we must have a profit plan so when the target is reached I will sell it and will buy it again when the market is being corrected.
But all of that comes back to each of them because everyone has a different strategy.

I do not really have that type of selling point in my mind, because I do not know how high it could get. I can't say that I would be selling at X point because then it could go a lot higher than that so I am not taking that risk at the moment. Bitcoin is going up and I speculate that at the end of this year the price of bitcoin will reach up to 40k$ but that's not a good time for selling of bitcoin. We should wait for halving because it is assumed that during halving the price will go towards peak like that of 70k$ and selling bitcoin at 70k$ is a suitable timing to get profit.

There is no guarantee that what price will be there during or after halving one can only imagine and can take decision according to speculations. Even one does not know that if the price goes to 40k$ then will it go more up or will reduces because no one will be able to understand about halving end.

One will sell their bitcoin according to their buying price that at which price they buy their bitcoin and how much profit they have for example if a person Buy bitcoin at 69k$ then it's very hard for him to sell at 50k$ so surely he will wait to go up than 70k$ to achieve better profit.

There are times when you have to get out of an investment and there are times when you get in. Investing is a way to get returns, but some people may be able to wait a little longer especially if they don't want to sell during a big bullish cycle. We can't blame other people's plans as long as they believe it will work, but some strategies may not be more profitable than others.

I am in the same position as most people, which means I will also sell when my target is met. If bitcoin manages to break through $120k then I will try to sell some of it in that area while waiting for another potential upside.

Yeah, holding will depend on us and selling is also an option and when we are doing this doesn't really matter as long as we earn. It was very important that we know what we are doing and most of all, we also have to know to analyze the market movement and progress as this is our basis for whether we have to hold or sell them. As long as we are investing and holding potential coins like Bitcoins and Ethereum, there is no worry of holding them for many years as we are confident enough that they will continue to grow and make the reach of another ATH.

If bitcoin really goes over $100k after the halving - then I think its ATH is $200k. Imagine if bitcoin was able to hit 3x the previous ATH - that would be fantastic to be true. But before that comes - then prepare everything as best you can, including accumulating bitcoin and consistently doing it.

Today bitcoin price has been dropping and unable to hold above $31k - but may recover soon after panic selling subsides. I've been waiting for $32k to break through the month of July - but so far haven't had a chance to touch that resistance.

Given my current situation of things presently I don't think not selling some of my BTC would be a good idea although I try my best to maintain a certain amount which I can sell and then DCA it back when am on funds because the nature of my work and background doesn't put on ground as an ideal bitcoin holder but the major fact about my investment is that am actually consistence in buying bitcoin as am also consistent in selling small portion of it to carter for my urgent needs.

My predictions on the price of BTC in the next ATH will be at exactly 100k to 120k USD  per BTC and my prayer is that I would have gather enough in my portfolio before this actually happens.

We're certainly not in a bull period right now. Actually, we're not even close to a bull market now, nor is Bitcoin's price gradually increasing. It's stuck at $30,000 and there's huge resistance to stopping it from increasing any further. Moreover, it seems doubtful that we'll see any major recovery throughout the year, with the most probable scenario being $40,000, which still isn't too bad judging how the year has progressed. $100,000 sounds like a possible scenario after the halving, but I'm not too sure about when that'll happen and if that's going to be throughout the next year or should we wait for two years from now at least. In my opinion, 2024 will be met with a new ATH, at $80,000, which is still great. I'm curious though; at what price did you buy Bitcoin? $10,000? Because you're claiming a potential profit of x10.

Bull run wouldnt kick in before halving event which we know that this do usually happens after halving event on which we are still that too far off with that event which we can really say that if we do really tend to accumulate then the best time on doing that is now. Dont tend to wait up for below 20k price which it might not really happen after all but there are still rumors and speculations that we might be seeing another huge dump before the market would really be having that huge reversal. This is why making up decisions basing up with those words would really stir up your mind on what you should gonna do.

Selling when bull run comes? Yes, if you dont like to wait up for another 4 years before you would sell your profits then its better to do it once the market would kicked in to go bullish. Well, we do have different bags to
handle out whether it would really be good on very long term holds or would really be just good on trend swings or whatsoever. Not all people would really be having the same plans and goals that they do have in mind.
Just let them be on what are the things they would do because in every decisions there's always comes a risks.

Or just continue to accumulate simply as that. Yes this is still the best time to do it, but as far as my experience goes, I do try to accumulate in the bull run and still very profitable.

I do agree that we will see 6 digits and ATH could be around $120k-$150k.

More than that it will be a bonus to us. So again, there is no secret, just buy and continue to do DCA.

Then for the price of ATH bitcoin after the upcoming halving next year. In my personal opinion, the price increase will not be much different from what happened in the previous bull run. And I estimate that ATH bitcoin, can break the price above $ 70k.

The main goal on my bitcoin sale this time is the upcoming bull run or halving. Because when there is a sizable profit, whatever it is, I will still sell it. Because I won't be greedy, waiting for the bull run to occur at the next halving. Because usually if bitcoin has reached ATH, usually the price will drop again, and that's where I will start buying bitcoin again from a lower price. So in essence, I will sell bitcoins on the next bull run, then take my profits and initial capital, I will reinvest, when bitcoins experience a decline after the bull run market is over. And about the target price for bitcoin that I want, it's around $ 60k and above, but even if the bitcoin price doesn't touch that price, for example around $ 50k, I will still sell it.

There is no point in HODLing bitcoin for ever or waiting for 100k. Its better to keep selling when you are in good profit or when your target price is reached. Bitcoin price is violatle and you can always buy back during next dip or bear season.

That's very much true that we will see next bull run or 100k target but we can't say when we will see that price. I am accumulating because halving is coming up next.

If I say that there is a way to know that Bitcoin have made a new ATH and it's getting weaker most won't believe me, the few that will believe are pro crypto trading gurus, there are tools for monitoring the Bitcoin behavior for the long-term but people don't always believe.

Many people will make profits that they will see with their eyes but they will fail to take profits, because they are expecting more pumps and they don't know that BTC pump is tired and ready for retracement, this have happened few times before.

Just like @adaseb have said, it's fortunately and unfortunately that many people will miss the profit taking due to greediness and few people will get the most out of the bull run because they are satisfied with the gains they make.
