We talking or we adopting it already? Man it’s already hard to live freely in the cruel economy just like this. Honestly I am not going Break the eggs here but pandemic was one nightmare that brought the life 5 years into the past while they forgot to stop the appreciations of various economic maths Vs salary drama. I mean the former kept growing while the salaries are just the way it is, rising slowly doing nothing. This has made things worst while we recover ourselves from that, then comes the war and then it grows into the worlds most wanted drama stage. We can’t even get a break from this. Missing the grand parents old days, everything was smooth after world war and before 19’s end.

The age of our grandparents was a good age and no one was worried about his future but now even a little boy think about the inflation. That time was good because inflation was not such higher and the value of currency maximum but now it deteriorated gradually.

At that time only a head of a family would be involved in earning money and fed the whole family but now every person of a family is earning but inflation does not end. Salaries are rising but one is powerless to bear the process because the value of money in not such higher that was in the past.

I have a friend who has been saving all his life, living with his parents and not having literally a coffee outside in order to be able to buy a house without a mortgage. He has been doing what it is supposed for a responsible manager in order to achieve his goal, and the system has failed him: not only due to the inflation, but also to the increase of the interest rates, he is now seeing how, as time goes by, and although he is doing what he is supposed to do, his goal is further day after day. And he lives in a country where things are not as bad as in many others you may live in. It is very sad, really, but there is little one can do.

~

Having two jobs at a time means that you've also taken away another job that should be for others. Just imagine if you hadn't taken that other job, someone would be taking it, and again, it helps them a lot. I don't mean that it is greed as we are just surviving, but it is really better to give it to someone as they also needed it. But again, I can't blame anyone or even myself as all of us struggle and one job is not enough.

My impression of the world may be wrong, but from what I see, there's no shortage of jobs anywhere, ever. People just don't want to do dirty and low paying ones, but jobs like that are always there. I used to do them  myself in the past when I couldn't find anything better. Never thought I was taking someone's job. Idk.

Drinking is good if you are just taking it rarely, but doing drugs is not good, so never do it. I am into drinking once a week or once a month, depending on my health and my money; it helps me relax.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that. Drinking a bit to relax from hard work isn't a bad thing. I was talking about drinking all day long to not see the world around you, like some people are doing during desperate times.

Inflation is really biting hard, and nobody is doing anything about it, should we all just go with what Tupac said, "that's just the way it is, things will never be the same"...

I also think that things will never be the same... Maybe we see some corrections here and there, but some high prices are here to stay. And probably the food is breaking all records, simply too much money is going into food.

Well, the guys who can do something about it are sitting in their chairs trying to earn even more, and I think we can say it's going great for them! Smiley

Inflation made a huge mess some years ago. I fully understand that sleeping money in the bank is not the best way to keep money. So I finally decided to move them into an asset that has the potential to beat inflation and at the same time easier to sell and cash out. And because it was not a good year to invest in crypto, I diversified it to different stocks. And then comes a huge bear run into our local stock market. Some of the stocks I purchased even dropped worse than some of the top 400 altcoins in crypto.

Inflation hasn't really hit me hard these days despite the global economic slowdown. What truly hit me hard is the plethora of taxes that my government has increased in recent times. Trash government!

Am just hoping for a drastic change in the upcoming elections which could potentially reduce the tax burden.

Precisely at times like that it is more risky to invest in the stock market, in crypto as well but the potential for recovery is enormous in the crypto market, when compared to the stock market.
When inflation occurs, indeed all aspects will be affected, but I think there are several investment options that can survive that, for example investing in real estate.

Bruh, mine got both of these and it just sucks for me to somehow limit my expenses and somehow be bombarded with annoying bills and yeah, taxes. Can't do anything about it anyway even if ya blame the government. People have been doing that kinds of stuff already in here, but nah. Wish it kinda gave effect, but it's just the same as always.

We can only hope. Good thing I hold Bitcoin though. Kinda somehow adapting to what's going on around me. It just sucks when you work 9-5.

Damn! That's tough. The silver lining here is that the global economic issues are decreasing slowly and steadily which implies everything will be back to normal in a couple of years hopefully.

Crypto does help mitigate these issues to some extent, but the annoying governments are taxing the heck of it too.

And that's the sad part though, it will take years for everything to go back to normal again and by that time my savings account would either be long gone or in a state of calamity. It's hard to keep up with the expenses cause it just keeps on coming. Crypto is helping but right now finance is still difficult to manage.

Damn, let's hope though. It's been quite a hell. Let's all be fingers crossed with that though. I wouldn't expect so much noticeable changes in price of commodities, but seeing even cents of decrease might be something worth celebrating at least.

Yep, and it's why I tend to just never cash out some portion of my Bitcoin. I just tend to keep it as much as possible. Money remittance centers here tend to be crappy in fees and it's why I don't tend to cash out my Bitcoin in here.

On the brighter side, if the 9-5 job wouldn't cut it anyway, I would just job hop. Promotions barely helps with inflation these days no matter what field you're at.

Blaming other people or the government in this case certainly won't help you deal with inflation, if you can't afford to pay taxes it's a good idea not to use what causes you to have to pay taxes first, it's a good idea if you are looking for additional income for now so that can meet your needs in dealing with situations like now.
Hopefully what you expect will be achieved and maybe this will help you a little.

~snip~
Yes, and there's no stopping it on which inflation becomes worst and those necessities and primary needs value and price keeps rising and even into those services and other correlated things do have that non-stop appreciation in terms of value and the salary that we are earning is really that just the same or stable. How we could be able to live out a good life on this case or manner? Government should at least have that kind of action when it comes on balancing on things because people would definitely be suffering out but since there are things which cant really be stopped like market global prices then it would really be just making out
that kind of domino effect.

Solution? Make other source of income and trying out our best on creating or having one aside on just simply relying with your dayjob paycheck because if you wont really be making out such actions or made out such
step then for sure you would really be living a life which it would really be just that too struggle when it comes to finances due to lots of spendings and expenses on which it is really just
that normal for you to deal with.
Inflation seems to be spreading and growing, and the prices of items keep rising. However, what about the pay? There was little change. How then does one handle it? Your thesis regarding the government and the domino effect is quite valid and correct

Bitcoin? That's where it shines, then, isn't it? Bitcoin has traditionally been thought of as an asset that can hedge against inflation, despite the redundant nature of its services and their constant appreciation. Financial relief might come from investing in Bitcoin and experimenting with various revenue streams. Bitcoin moves forward but never stops, much like a game of tag, and that's the fun thing, isn't it? Maybe you should include it in your strategy to combat inflation. It's a way of life; it goes beyond money

Sorry to hear about your experience. But that's how it is: you either just keep your money in the bank, or you try  to protect it against inflation and you risk and sometimes lose even value than if money just stayed in the bank.

What about you, by the way? If you've just kept your money in the bank, would you have more now in the USD equivalent? And what if you invested in Bitcoin or other crypto? I personally thing that investing in local stocks in unstable countries is more risky than investing in crypto.

Think about it this way, if one person does 100 level work in 2 jobs, and 150 level work if they worked just one job, then I would guess that if someone who can do a 50 level job there, why would they get the job just because the other guy already has one. If he deserves the job then he deserves the job that's it.

I believe that in this day and age people should have two jobs, or a job that is basically open for more earning. For example I could work as much as I want and earn accordingly at my job, but if it wasn't like that and I worked at a job that had set amount of earning and that wasn't enough, I would look for a second job.

We're all trying to survive and having two jobs is just better than one. There are so many jobs available actually if the other is just not choosy enough they can also get another job. It's a matter of making money so whether it's just collecting garbage or flipping burgers, it doesn't matter just take the job and be grateful.

If there is a job better than what I currently have, I might just be taking it for better earnings. The prices of today's daily needs are just too much. Iff you could handle 3 jobs, you might as well take it.

Precisely at times like that it is more risky to invest in the stock market, in crypto as well but the potential for recovery is enormous in the crypto market, when compared to the stock market.
This investment is one way to overcome inflation, especially at this time. Although many people are afraid that investing will make them lose money and require a lot of capital, investing is a person's choice and way of fulfilling their financial goals so that our purchasing power does not decrease. If you don't understand high-risk investment instruments, it's better to put them in a safe place first, at least you can minimize the decrease in value due to inflation. Don't be afraid of excessive inflation, those who didn't understand stocks suddenly buy bitcoins or stocks whose money was originally for short-term needs, suddenly invest in bitcoins or stocks. In the end we sell it because we need money

Quote
When inflation occurs, indeed all aspects will be affected, but I think there are several investment options that can survive that, for example investing in real estate.
We must be able to survive this inflation, one of the best ways is long-term investment. an example like the one you gave investing in real estate even when we need money Real estate cannot be sold immediately but for side inputs can be used as a powerful way to deal with inflation. Land and houses can be good investment stocks because the longer the land, the less it becomes, so it can be even more expensive.

I agree with this because regardless of anything when we are in the position of a worker then indeed we inevitably and must be ready with all the competition that exists because basically our leaders do not want the assigned tasks to fail to be done so it depends on your readiness.
Regardless of 1 job or 2 jobs at once as long as it can still be done well then why not.
As for when this is said to snatch the jobs of others who need it, in this case it goes back to competition because of course if you fail to compete then it is not the fault of the person who can do 2 jobs at once but other people who cannot do better.

In this day and age I think competence is important so if you don't want your job to be snatched up by others then don't let your qualifications decline so that you will still be considered and in the end when you are displaced by others whose work is better it doesn't mean we have to blame others but blame ourselves for not being able to work optimally and losing the competition.

Having 2 jobs is always better than one but of course it would really be entirely be depending if you do able to handle yourself on such condition knowing that it would really be eating most of your time.
We know that dealing with more work would really be getting off that balance in between your time with your family but well it is really just that more important that you should really prioritize on giving out their needs
which even if it needs to sacrifice the time you do have then i would definitely do it. It would really be just that common sense that you would really be needing to adjust whenever you do able to experience hardship
because inflation is something that cant really be stopped nor something that could be lessen. It do becomes even more worst as years passing by on which it would really be just that normal that you would
be finding ways or methods or alternatives on which you could really be able to sustain at least.

I am trying to save the value of my money by convert it into goods that I can sell, the money value is decrease but the product value is not. but it is so hard to create successful business, now I am still trying to analyze the market so I can optimize any resources that I have for that business. the risk is influence my life so I need to be extra careful.
