I know you might be feeling overwhelmed and would not have thought of it this way but I have seen people getting tagged for this.

What was wrong here? I only asked for support from a fellow local community member, and since the member was active, I was given those merits. It is not that I have not been active or not contributing to the local board. 

As long as the member is on board with you, there is nothing wrong. The problem arises if you ask someone and they interpret as forced and the entire meaning changes.

I am planning a signature campaign using the BTC that I will earn from the current signature campaign for the Member rank initially. If I get any sponsorship for my tool, then I will expand the campaign for Full and Senior Members. But first, I will need to buy a domain name, as hosting will be taken care of by Cloudflare. It is a free tool, and it can only survive by sponsorship. I do request you to come up with feedback or changes in the tool.

If I am not wrong, Pawan wasn't talking about him expressing his frustration or what but returning the favor might get us in trouble because we are just small circle of active members sharing merits with each other so when someone see this will look like an attempt to farm accounts.

But it is okay as long as we are two different individuals.

It is really great to reinvest what you earn back for the development of the community but as you said the budget needs to be bigger to have a proper promotion, some community members might be interested in helping the forum but you can also try gambling sites who will be ready to jump in as long as their banner is shown somewhere in your tool.

I have created an app using my intelligence and my understanding of the forum for the newbie to the Hero member community. I do not think there should be any issue if I am asking for rank-up support from my community. If asking me to rank up was an issue, then why is there a thread created on the reputation board for anyone who is 10 merits short of the next rank? I think you are overthinking here, and I do not see any issue with my request as one of the active and contributing members here.
 
I have analyzed the tagging culture, and most of them are grudge-based on negative tags. Generally, tags should always be neutral unless someone has done exceptionally wrong or exceptionally good for the whole community. If someone still creates a tag then I do will have enough evidence about that user with my next update that I am going to pass on my product with the version 9

I didn't see you asking for merits anywhere though.
The only issue I see is that you "returning the favour" with the same amount of merits that you received almost instantly to the same person who sent you the merits.
I might be overthinking but just thought of keeping you away from trouble. Anyway, it's your choice.

In the last few days I was busy and didn't have enough time to check things around, but now I'm taking interest in reading a few things and also checking many points that are helping. I'm still a newbie and have nothing but a few tips that are surely going to be helpful in the long run.

In the community, not enough members are active despite too many Indians being around here. It's really weird because I personally feel it needs some good contribution in the community, which is always good for locals and the overall community.

Definitely, I noticed a calculation mistake under dashboard, under 'Tips for your rank'.

It says, you need Activity: 2870 pts — 2095 more needed for Legendary, edit that to 775-1000.

Suggestion, try implementing array shuffling retry mechanism to avoid proxy failover, once you start gaining traffic.

I did not want to make it look too obvious with my response. Having said that, there are several threads that help users to rank up.  @Cointikka was on the verge of ranking up, and you helped him reach his rank. We actually discussed the entire sequence. This way, no one will have any misunderstandings about this in the future.

You can start contributing, no one is stopping you and no one is compelling anyone to post either.
