How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment?

Aside from BNB, there is really no need to trust these exchange tokens when you think about it. BNB is a great one because Binance is the biggest exchange token out there, it's the third biggest cryptocurrency and it is also a prime coin to have tokens under its chain as well.

When you combine all of those together it becomes obvious that you should be using that to make as much money as you possibly could, that way you could make a profit quickly. However, we are going to end up with a result that will not be simple, I think it's quite important to focus on what type of profit you could make with it, and that should be very important, the problem is that people do not let it be like that and focus on higher risk stuff.

this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? I have BNB, OKB and BGB and speaking about their performances then it would be always reflect on different factors;
1. Market condition
2. Trend
3. Exchange platform promotions and other related update

We can really see that it would really be bringing out that kind of price action basing up with those factors above. This is why im not really that a fan that much on accumulating or holding more.
Since i do have those 3x piece of exchange coins or tokens then it isnt really that bad to hold it up as long you dont focus up with these things.

Basing on my port then i would be mainly holding Bitcoin and ETH which the rest would be speaking about these exchange coins and the rest are those meme coins and some alts
which i do believe that it could have the potential on having that multiple folds on upcoming bull run season. It might not be assured but at least we do already know on what are those
probabilities. Invest on what you can afford to lose as always.

The binance coin is not doing as well as you think, since April the binance coin has experimented almost a 40% drop, no matter how we look at this is is not right as bitcoin has not experimented the same kind of negative movement, this tell us there is something going on with binance, and it is not a mystery at all, we know the SEC has binance on their sights and they want to limit their influence or maybe even destroy them, and this means that other exchange tokens are also suffering as if binance falls then it wont take long for the SEC to go for them as well.

I'm not a holder of any exchange token except holding some bnb in wallet probably as for trend and trusted by people which is performing as okey. Otherwise exchange tokens aren’t sound good invest as those are useless in most of the cases. exchanges token are kind of so call token just act for giving 10-25% discount if you use that token for transaction in its platform. Otherwise no real use of it and most of the time those perform as dump in the long.

Binance coin or BNB is the only one coins exchange in my portfolio holding right now, not really promising although exchange coin because invested when BNB above $320 and current BNB price drop drastically right now dump to $220. You can give your viewed about how progress with BNB coins and take more lesson when investing in exchange coin or token never totally trusted and keep open stop loss order for protecting when coins suddenly dump. I don't see with other exchange coin or token have good progress like BNB or not but almost exchange token or coin performing right now still bad.

Looking at the prices of everything right now, it makes sense that most of them (probably all of them) not doing that well. The market is in the red for the past few weeks and just because of that alone it makes sense not to have any result at all, it should be normal not to have any results, nothing good at least.

I believe that we are going to get a lot worse and we should be considering this to get better. If we see it get better then we are going to end up making more profit eventually as well. I think it is important to make that profit because with that method you are going to end up with accumulating it at the bottom right now, and selling it later on when it starts to make more money as well, a good idea.

It is never a recommendation to put your assets into an exchange. Remember on the FTX collapse? Many people lose their assets because they store their assets on FTX which is a top exchange before their disaster occur. This shows that even if your coin is on a top exchange, storing it their still have a risk even for a short time because we never know what might happen. I personally have some assets on the exchange that I'm using but I don't store it there because I using the exchange to trade my assets, that's why it's obvious that it will be there. Hardware wallet or any decentralize wallet will suffice if you really avoid that kind of risk.

so far I agreed that BNB having the most utility nowadays, the others are just giving some discount which doesn't make sense since 25% discount of the fee trading is kinda absymal.
but if its used for staking like BNB for the sake of getting new quality coins that might have the potential of tripling its value then it will be worth it.
and so far the only exchange that could realize such concept is only binance.
for that I guess the reason why their BNB is having quite high market capitalization, added with the fact that they have bsc in their service.

The greatest strength and the greatest weakness of exchange coins is the exchange behind them, the success binance has enjoyed since its creation is huge and soon became the most dominant exchange on this market due to the favorable treatment they gave to their customers at the time, however no business is meant to dominate or to even last forever, and as such it is entirely possible binance could suffer a huge setback soon, and anyone still holding their binance coin at the moment will suffer heavy consequences because of it.

Look at the price of other altcoins and you will see that there is a similar situation. When the price of bitcoin decreases, it does not matter if it is an exchange token or not, the price will also decrease. And if the market turns to growth, then altcoins, including exchange tokens, will also increase in price.

at least you mentioned those exchange token so we can look at its performance? and also exchange tokens are the most risky tokens for me because we knew how exchange are vulnerable with the attacks of hackers and other criminal elements in which surely will affect their token like what had happened in the past.

Holding exchange token fully depends on individual likeness because you may found it worthy to hold while others may see it as something not good to have, personally I had took time to analyzed all this tokens they act the same, and same principles of altcoin controls them irrespective of the exchange it should be. Same thing happened to BNB token, we were thinking of seeing it at 5k then when people were predicting ETH to hit $10k but surprisingly that couldn't happened. Between, holding exchange token to me seems wasting of funds rather I may decides to convert them into btc and hold to reduce my fear since they have the possibility of becoming zero at any time.

As long as you are aware of the risks then that is fine, however I cannot help but to draw some comparisons between the case of Ripple and the binance coin, during the previous bull run Ripple underperformed in a spectacular fashion because of the issues it had with the SEC, and now binance is facing similar issues with it, so it is entirely possible that the binance coin is not going to perform as well as it did on the past, and this could cause you to not earn as much money as you were expecting during the next years.

I have few Uni (Uniswap) tokens, hodling still since it's airdrop, surprisingly it's price is still close to what it was when it was airdropped. I don't have any CEX tokens as I rarely use centralized exchanges, CEX tokens give some kind of benefit on their platform if you hold their tokens but if you don't use CEXes in first place there is no benefit to you and I'm not fan of getting in for sheer speculation.

even Binance? well though they are prone to issues like hacks and scams but standing
that long might show grace and support from many holders.
though indeed that i support you for that because  those coins  are really risky specially in long term , we have no assurance at all of how much it can climb and how long it will stay safer.
but nothingmore , this is a risk we must take if we wanted to earn more than supporting Bitcoin(that is what most altcoin supporters think)
just make sure that you will not put all the eggs in one basket,
try to diversify or try to manage buying bitcoin for the safest way of treating your crypto investing.
