No, there is no maximum number of posts that newbies are not supposed to surpass daily. Only what can happen is the time interval that newbies can post again. Aside that, no problem. But making sure that the posts are of good quality.

It is 360 seconds (6 minutes) for newbies. This restriction is reduced as the user will increase in activity. You can see this theymos post about it which I think has not changed till now.

I've adjusted the limits to make spamming more difficult.

Compliment of the season to you all, what i understand concerning post as in terms of us as newbie, you will doing your from day one and it will be showing on your activity till it will reach a particular number of posting that as a newbie your  posting will be reflecting on your activity or your activity will be increasing every two weeks.

He is not asking about how activity is counting. He asked about newbies posting restriction which I have given him the answer above which you can see in the above table. About what you posted, if a newbie starts to post, activity will be counting until it reaches 14. After it reaches 14, it will be counting 14 at once every 14 days.

As a newbie is very important that you are open to learn new things, make sure you take it serious because without your seriousness you find it difficult to follow up.

Try and know the rules and regulations of the forum so you don't fall victim.

At all point makes sure you ink down a quality post, post that hit vital points in a discussion. In achieving that you must make serious research, study hard to know more.


Don't see the benefit (monitary side of it) as the primary goal rather try improving your knowledge on what bitcoin talk is all about and every benefit attached to it will follow. Thank you

If you have posted your bitcoin address before somewhere in this forum, like while applying for a signature campaign, it can be used instead. Not necessary you should stake your bitcoin address. But there is possibility that you can stop using a wallet and move to another one and have no access to your old wallet seed phrase or private key. But for the address that you staked, you will have it in mind that it is for the purpose and avoid losing the seed phrase or private key.

Staking your bitcoin address in the forum is just like a kind of evidence or proofs that will help in your account recovery should it get hacked, or you lost access to your account. It will help to authenticate that you are the rightful owner of the account if it gets compromised in the future and just as Charle-Tim said, if you are staking your bitcoin address that means you will need to protect the security access to that wallet address such as the seed phrases and the private keys because that is what you will need to access that particular wallet address in the future if your account get hacked.

Make yourself useful and you will earn merit and rank up. Readers are leaders. If you learn, you are investing. Learning is an asset.

If I should use myself as an example.
I took time to first learn how people that are merited are posting. I followed what some of them are posting. With that, I learned a lot. But I wanted to know more about bitcoin at the time and earn more knowledge about it and to know ways to avoid online scam and hacks. I searched online about how to avoid online scam and hacks which were some of my first topics on this forum. Just take it slow, read from what established members are posting and follow them very well will help you.

Some people on this local board are earning merit. Look at their posts too (with the English boards) and you will understand better. Making posts useful, informative and educating will help to ranking up. Do not come for money, come for knowledge and you will be surprised.

Your words are very meaningful and important. Knowledge is truly a treasure that no one can take away. Those who read a lot or try to gain knowledge can take the right decision on any subject at any moment. On the other hand, those who spend more time and effort to learn make the right investment for their future. This is as important as investing money because by learning, it is possible to become skilled and do better in the future. Thank you very much for this important and informative post. This forum normally  dey filled with useful informations and the only way you fit take acquire them na when you spend time read. You fit just dey stroll enter any board make you just dey observe wattin dey play for there and get used to the forum. Plenty of answers don dey provided to this question but I go just add one thing; for you to get merits, you need to first understand say you no dey obliged to make any post as soon as you create your account, but first read and understand the rules of the forum so you no go make mistake. Many newbies in a bid to make their first post and possibly hunt for merit dey make the simple mistake of plagiarism and most times, dey make posts wey person no fit make head and tail out of. So if the plan nah to grow for the forum, e go gud to read, make research and even observe so you fit contribute meaningfully for here.
 Keeping to these they help push merits come your way faster.

I just exclaimed,'Omo', upon stumbling on this post and actually taking my God given time to go through what the original poster had to say. I understand how meant feel just as a beginner but i want you to understand one thing that nothing good comes easily, there is always a tendency that you must show working  to be at greater hight, i love using myself as an example, from the day one that i was introduced to this Bitcoin i took so much interest that i encourage myself never to give up but to keep pushing no matter how difficult it meant looking in building up my Bitcoin portfolio and that is the thing has been keeping me pushing and substanting me because i know what I'm going to archive at end of it, so i will advise you that no matter how the forum meant looks sometimes never give upon yourself, just believe that better days ahead of you.
