The use of bitcoin is increasing due to the fact that this currency has no regulatory body and is decentralized and this is why the price of bitcoin can rise or fall very quickly. If it were controlled by the government it would have the same effect of inflation as a fiat currency. Bitcoin will generally run at its own pace with no influence on government finances investors will act independently.
