There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins in existence, it doesn't mean that everyone in the world cannot have bitcoin though. That's because bitcoin can be divided into smaller units. Each bitcoin is divisible up to eight decimal places & the smallest unit is called a satoshi which is equivalent to one hundred millionth of a bitcoin.

With this divisibility even if there are only 21 million bitcoins the total number of sats is extremely high allowing for widespread adoption and use. In theory everyone in the world can own and use bitcoin as the supply can be divided to accommodate the needs of users.

I think it's possible since you could own a small portion of BTC which means you're already owned a BTC. I'm not sure if it's called mBTC where it's something like 0.001 BTC. And to clarify something even if we have a 8.1 billion number of the population, there's still a lot of people who doesn't know or aware on BTC existence so for sure there would always be open a slot to anyone's wanting to own BTC. You don't need to think of the supply with the number of people especially if they doesn't have any idea about it. Wow, how can you be so sure that the world population is 8.1Billion? This is not accurate, the numbers of humans living on this earth is more than that, and no machine is capable of recording the exact number, there are loads of people that are living in the areas where there is no screening or counting for us to actually know their numbers, some are tribes that are not counted as part of the people living in the cities, because they are always in the jungle or the Amazon forest.

I mean, it is statistically possible but in order for this to happen, every person would own like a significantly small fraction of BTC (e.g. 0.000001 BTC) on their wallets which is not possible but definitely not feasible currently. In addition, lots of people lack the access to basic internet services which would render this plan impossible for the time being.

Even if there is a limited supply of BTC, this does not stop anyone from owning it. With forks happening (last fork happened 2017), the denomination of BTC being rewarded to miners gets smaller and smaller, which makes BTC more expensive as time passes by. This is also the reason on why it is heavily recommended for users to at least store some BTC for long-term to take advantage of this system.

Bitcoin is not designed to be owned by everyone in the world. They are limited in supply but that doesn’t mean it will not go round the 8.1 billion population in the world if everyone decides to own a fraction of it. mBTC exists, which are smaller amount of BTC just like we have cents to dollars. If you own a 0.00000001 amount of BTC and can be amounted to a price, I think you’re already a owner of BTC in your possession.

Bitcoin is not limited to younger people only, even the older ones can own BTC and we’ve had of cases of such before. What matters the most is that they understand what bitcoin entails and how it functions, paying concern to their privacy and security of coin. The more people who hold bitcoins in their wallets, the rarer the bitcoins circulating and being traded on the market. So the market demand will be higher when bitcoins are getting scarcer. I think that soon each of the young population of the countries will have a cryptocurrency on their wallet. Why do I write specifically about young people? It's possible, since there are lots of Satoshi, so money supply would be OK if BTC becomes worldwide popular. This is also the mechanism to avoid inflation: the maximum limit af all the money available. However, there are other problems. First, money holders are able to control inflation if their actions are centralised. Secondly, many wallets are lost forever, and the number of lost wallets is increasing, so, at some point, after all the BTC are mined, we will have continuously decreasing amount of money (instead of fixed amount of money, as it was meant to be). 21M total coins is an arbitrary number and the number of total coins in existence is irrelevant. If there was a point in time that demand was so high that Bitcoin was a global currency, the value of each coin goes up because the total possible supply remains stagnant.

If the question is whether or not Bitcoin is enough for every person in this planet, then the answer is of course yes, a simple supply and demand rules if everyone wants bitcoin the value will increase so even owning a few Satoshi is enough for monthly expenses, so it will always be enough. But if the question is whether everyone can have a bitcoin, for now probably not, there are some countries that Bans bitcoin, the people definitely shouldn't own Bitcoin, some area don't have any supporting market/exchange for Bitcoin so owning bitcoin is pointless, some area doesn't even have a reliable internet connection so may doesn't even have any idea what is Bitcoin.
