Normally this thread is out of date an shouldn't have been brought out. If you ask me I will say with my knowledge now this thread need to be adjusted.

Any thread can be brought back to live for discussion my friend, weather it's 1yr or 2yrs old, because inasmuch as it not locked, then anybody can bump it up again for discussion. So it's left for you O.P to either manually update it or lock it up if you don't want people to come discuss on this thread. Because though this may look old to you, I'm sure there are other forum newbies who will be seeing this for there very first time, and will love to engage in a discussion here.

is totally wrong because even educated people don't have work and still struggling to survive. Education is not a guarantee for success but prepares you ahead of the future. What education does is to keep you updated sothat whenever something comes up, you should be able to pick up from there an continue.

What if I said you are wrong, that truly if people had been educated about Bitcoin (i.e how to trade both spot & future, buy & sell) and knew how to monetize their knowledge by joining the Bitcointalk forum, creating crypto podcast and teaching people about the latest Bitcoin related keywords (i.e How to buy Bitcoin in Nigeria, e.t.c) on any of the social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok and co. Or rather organizing a course where he teaches people about Bitcoin, such individual is likely to have earn a decent sum of money and be living a good life.

Yea you are actually correct about that, both of us are still in thesame sides, that is part of what I have explained. If you look closely you will see what I wrote. I didn't disproved the fact that if most people where knowledgeable about bitcoin information that they wouldn't have don well, but saying thesame as you that they would have done well. Even in my topic Included it. The place I emphasis more is the aspect I earlier said that if people where educated that unemployment would have reduced. if you check the context you would notice that the topic of discussion throws more emphasis on being educated and getting a job from there you may become successful. But on a second thought I still did a rethink that even if you are educated you might still not be successful if you are not given the right information be it in cryptocurrency or jobs all are thesame because if you weren't given the opportunity to come to Bitcointalk you would have been educated and yet you are equally as others. Most people have been given the opportunity as you, but couldn't do well because they couldn't comprehend and they gave up.  So that is why I said education get you prepared against the future so that you can adapt to any given opportunity. Noth that I don't know that education helps us to achieve many things but just try to re-define education in my understanding.

Because, one thing I have come to understand which is the major cause of unemployment in this country is that we have many students who are graduates of a particular course, but yet fail to know how to monetize that course in the society.  

In this aspect the reason why most student will graduate from school and yet don't monetize the course they study in the universe is because of the following reasons:
1. They studied a particular course because that was the only option they had after several attempts of finding a particular course that was denied by given them a second choice. Which they accept it without considering the outcome.
2. They studied what their parents want because of that they studied out of scope of their understand just because they want to satisfy the desire of there parent, to be what they want them to be or expect. They will make sure they graduate just to make their parents proud just like our popular musician Davido. (OBO) After which they go for what they know after graduation
3. Some People study a course because they want to be called graduate, instead of being called WAEC holder or school dropout.
4 while others will study just because they had people that graduated from this course are all rich. And you don't consider if you will know it or graduate from it.

In conclusion millions of people all over the world are not working with their certificate. Even some who did better in their course of study changed their mind when they go into labour market. When they find a lucrative business that pays more than what they studied in school. Everyone needs a higher paying job. Those that are working with their certificate is either working because that is all what they could offer to the society or simply because it is only the highest paying job they have encountered. I bet if you introduced more graduate to a higher paying job from what they studied they will leave the job. Except for some that has passion for their job.

The situation for we country dey affect both the educated and uneducated, why e be like that be say, government over the years never really create budget way dey people oriented, why go touch the lives of people. See if availability of jobs dey, ego dey for people way go school and people way no go school, sometimes them dey call am, skilled and non-skilled labor. However the reason why people see say school na scam, na because say even after schooling a lot of graduates still find it extremely difficult to secure a well paying job, perhaps most of them just dey manage the jobs way dey under pay them( a high category of graduates fall under am), which to an extent discourages those that are still yet to go or make them see it in a bad light.

Schooling is basically a formal way of learning, which equips you with intellectual knowledge, and shouldn't be seen as any other thing.

Watin I mean be say, you actually don let those wey no understand how important school dey, to realize say to waste time for school con comot dey find work, no be the main reason why school dey important.
Person suppose fit read big grammar and understand am and fit mingle with more intelligent people wey dey form say Dem sabi, and to speak good English language as well as write am plainly, also to fit sit-down think properly and create work for oneself; all these na the reason why school dey very importanter.
Lastly, person wey go school don elevate em class for society automatically and e better say person still dey find money and e go school, than say e get moni and e no go school.

Although we no go fit overemphasize the importance of formal education but whether you agree with me or not, I'll always say that not everyone are meant to go to school and acquire that formal education. If you check the country very well for our country today. Illiteracy is not the major cause of poverty in the country but Ignorance, mediocrity and Laziness.

You fit dey uneducated but you dey informed and industrious, and with those qualities you fit get opportunities to make am big. Do you think it's all successful people that are educated or had access to formal education?
That's why I dey always comot cap for our Igbo brothers. After secondary school, if Igbo man see say en pikin head no carry book, e go jejely ask am which trade e go wan learn. And if that pikin dey serious for that trade, e go make am through there without acquisition of formal education.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying education or being educated isn't good, No, all I'm saying is that it's an overhyped means of becoming rich, they make it look like after graduation from school, there's a well paying job lying around and waiting for you, yet we have so many unemployed graduates, some even came out top in their classes but yet no job.

The system for Naija no be the same for the Western world so make we dey try call spade spade and shovel shovel.

Our focus for education only dey on one side na e make any one wey no get white-collar job people go dey see am as waste for going school, they forget say school no be only to get job for office, school dey change person for many other way come Serve as link to job and others things wey fit make person life dey alright.

There is some connections wey person they get Tru school wey person wey see school as scam no fit get my level mate for school, Den na connect as part of school activities make him connected with governors wife as our faculty president which governor wife graduated through their the guy make am even when we dey struggle the guy done already buy land buy car without been employed still get right to enter any office for government house , everything must not be working after graduation allot of things for a graduate to do wey be say if you know get educated you no go fit do am, despite say this forum accomodations some local language one must have that education exposure to be able it arrange the sentence to a readable and understandable way.

School no be scam because if you go school and you no get money,at least you dey different from who no go school in contributions and your way of life. No be compulsory say who go school don hammer,na the mistake wey we dey do be that. We think say if you don graduate the door of riches don open for you,my bro no be for Nigeria o. To make money determine on your commitment and seriousness to know that field wey you fit in to showcase skill or intelligent. Unemployment na e dey mess our country up due to high rate of corrupt citizens.

The problem be say na the way the system dey designed for na dey casue am because dem don already tag am say na only school graduates na go make or don already make am. School na place wey people dey learn many things to help equip themselves for the battle ahead for the real world but the problem be say Nigeria don cage and many people wey go school as if them waist their time and money.
