Cake didn't perform well if you're going to take a look at it. Actually, most of them are not but we don't know if they will be at their best shape during the bull run. That's how it goes with these tokens for sure because the known the exchange is, the better that they'll have as an impact to their tokens.

You have a point about it, only a few manages to be big but they won't get out of the market if nothing happens just as what FTX did. But even so, look at its FTT token, it's still there.

my advice is still to hold your altcoin that you invest, because as long as the project is still running and making progress, then you still have the opportunity to make a profit from investing in these altcoin, especially now that the condition of the market is bad (bear market), so it's only natural if many of altcoin that you invest dump by 70%-80% and I am sure that if a bullrun occurs, then the price of altcoin that you invest will definitely increase very high again and give you a lot of profit.

Depends on what coin you are really that holding or the project you are really that investing because not all altcoins would really be that flying or really increase in price when BR happens. Only to those solid projects
will really be flying out with colors and a mix of those shit coins that which you dont really expect for it to fly. This is why some people are really that having a fan of collecting or investing into coins as if they were really just that giving out assurance that they will really be making some significant movement when the market will really be able to make some u-turn. Only for reputable since its so hard to determine if those new exchange who launch their own native token would last for more years. Since they could just shutdown their operation if they succeed to earn millions from their pre-sale that's why we should go for reputable one than trying our luck to earn with those new since I always believe on coin that bear market tested since from there we can have some peace of mind that they will not rug pull us on short period of time. That's right because we haven't seen any exchange coins that are successful lately and all of them seem to easily hit their full potential at lower prices. Although we have a few that exceed our expectations, most of those coins do not really have enough liquidation to be able to rise as much as possible like ETH or BTC. It's better to invest at their earliest stage if you found one and surely you won't regret your decisions but only after you have finished your own research not from a review of some influencers who wanted to promote false successful coins.

The problem only remains in finding out a genuine, trusted and good exchange. Most of them use it to run their ecosystem and up till now only Binance has been successful. Following Binance Kucoin did launch their token which didn't perform well till now. I doubt any exchange token will do as good as Binance token did earlier and is still doing better than others.

I don't think all exchange coins or token worth for holding because many coins drop drastically such as Cake as Pancake of dapp exchange ever on all time high price above $40 and right now drop drastically until 2.5$. I think for more profitable exchange coins or token looks BNB or UNI as Uniswap exchange, but not good ideas when holding if both coins raising to higher price due if correction will difficult waiting recovery to the higher price.

Still hold few of BNB coins since price above $300 and today difficult get back to higher price after last several months when facing problem between SEC Commission and Binance exchange.

Probably any exchange token is much more dangerous to hold than some other altcoin. As you said, a hack could negatively affect the price of the token. Or some laws that could prohibit the exchange from operating. It's better to buy regular altcoins.

Hmm, that's very funny because I was thinking myself in acquiring some coins in respect to some exchange especially binance but with your experience now I think I will make exceptions to even buy because they are not all that promising. Basically the only altcoins I possess that is even promising would be Solana coin because since the time I acquire it earlier this year the value has kinda double making my investment have some profits but I didn't buy much due to the fear of dumbing but I believe as the bull season draw close Solana will reach some valuable number.

don't get too confident also with SOL. right now, it is showing good market performance. but aside from the market, one should also check out the team behind this project and see what they are up to these days.
exchange tokens are hard to trust long-term as their lifespan depend on the exchange platform itself. if you think the trading platform is waning down their popularity, better discard your tokens as soon as you have such notion. better get some profits while you still have it.
